Our tour with our guide Aldis was amazing!!! We enjoyed the nature walk, watching the landscape change between forest, valleys and sand dunes. We could see 8 koalas!!! And during the tour Aldis taught us a lot about the local fauna and flora, it was very friendly and funny. We will always recommend this tour!!!

The Koala Walking Tour was very interesting. Our guide, Aldis ("Al"), was friendly and full of knowledge about the animals and plants on Kangaroo Island. We saw numerous koalas and an echidna and learned about all the different eucalyptus varieties and many edible plants along the way. Al was very passionate about nature and we enjoyed the learning experience during our walkabout.

My husband and I had a super good trip. We had Aldis as a guide and we got everything we could wish for and much more. He could on the 2 hours tour lasted tell about koalas, trees, plants, trails in the forest, what does animals and plants when it burns in Australia, ants, spiders and much more. He shared his great and passionate knowledge about nature, was pleasant and entertaining and managed to quickly sense what we wanted. Caring and curious about our lives and travel. We saw at least 10 koalas and several of them even awake and very photogenic. Thank you for a lovely trip. Can highly recommend the trip.

Claire was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna in the area and pointed out very interesting aspects of both. She constantly checked in with the comfort and interest of her guests. We learned so much! I would recommend this tour for anyone visiting Kangaroo Island

Absolutely excellent. We were expecting something curated, maybe slightly inauthentic and commercial, but it was none of those. The habitats we visited were all natural and our group was only 4 people. Out guide Candice was very knowledgeable and entertaining. And yes you will see koalas, in their natural environment

Our guide Candy was very engaging, informative and made the walking tour such good fun. The Koalas were plentiful once you got used to spotting their resting places. They are so cute and beautiful. We had frequent pauses to take photos have a drink and rest the two hours flew by. It was a flat walk through a woody trail so good footwear and water essential. We also saw bees in a tree hive and an enchiladas trotting around which is rare. We are so pleased that we booked this tour and highly recommend.

Myself, my wife, and our 21yo son had a lovely Koala tour with our guide Candice. The trail was very easy, we saw about 15 koalas, a beautiful bee hive in a hollowed out tree, and some really interesting plants. Candice did an awesome job spotting koalas and explaining the history and environment on Kangaroo Island including the fires, the regrowth, and the role the koalas play in it all. We also saw a pretty big “guana” which looked to me like a monitor lizard. We had to wait for it to cross the street (slowly) before we could pull in. There’s a big sand dune there as well and they seemed to offer sand sledding and boarding as well but we didn’t do those activities. If you want to see koalas, I would highly recommend Little Sahara and asking for Candice, though I’m sure all of their guides are great. Thanks again! -James
