  i first booked a six dive package and ended up upgrading to a ten dive package over the course of four days, and even paid for one extra dive my last day because i simply could not get enough and did not want to leave! this admittedly lengthy review will cover: logistics, staff, safety protocols, equipment quality, certification classes, generally emphasize what a great value their multi-dive packages are, and end on an LGBTQ+ friendly side note. BB divers offer taxi pick up and drop off, and transport on Koh Chang is not as accessible/affordable as on the mainland. i didn’t know that beforehand so very grateful for BB divers taking care of that logistical point of my trip, despite my hotel being quite far away from the pier. the boat crew and divemasters are extremely professional, friendly, and kind to everyone aboard. some are even down to joke around (when appropriate!! hehe). underwater, the divemasters are there when you want them to be; to check in on you/your air gauge throughout each dive and to point out sea creatures of interest. and otherwise they let you do your thing if you are a comfortable, skilled diver while still safely supervising the entire dive. the dive shop manager(s) are quick to respond to emails before and during your trip. the beautiful traditional wood-carved boats are everything you need them to be. both the large and smaller boats include: two decks, one dry one wet, marine toilet, yummy thai buffet served on board for lunch, fresh fruit to end a long day of diving, and a free flowing beverage bar stocked with coffee, tea, sweet snacks, and electrolyte packets to keep you going strong all day long. they also stock the boats with extra tanks should you, like me, decide to do another dive any day. BB divers is extremely flexible and accommodating to what *you* want to do. on board any of their boats with skilled crews both above and below the water, you will be relaxed, spoiled, and well taken care of without a worry in your mind. safety is top priority, and fun is a close second ;) i truly believe you cannot have fun dives if safety protocols are not at the forefront of all staff members minds, and BB divers is no exception. because of their attention to safety and high quality equipment i felt comfortable to suggest to a friend that was meeting me later on in Koh Chang to get her open water certification with my divemaster Marcus (and divemaster in training, Raven). she enjoyed the experience and loved having a one-on-one training, and not being lumped into a group of four or five other beginner students. i was surprised they even did a compass navigation training dive with her, something i did not learn hands-on in my open water certification ten years ago and only did once getting an advanced certification. all to say, they went above and beyond expectations in terms of open water diving certification, highly recommend! during fun dives with my newly certified friend divemaster Marcus would support and check on her the whole way through, so that i was not worried at all, and could just focus on having fun looking at marine life together. this is important to know if you’re wanting to introduce a friend or family member into the world of diving while in Koh Chang. the dive sites were beautiful; my favourite for early June was three fingers reef/Hin Kuak Ma in Koh Rang (so much biodiversity) and loved ending most days in the peaceful, shallow waters of Koh Yuak teeming with white eyed moray eels and blue spotted string rays hiding between rock formations (would see both animals every time we dove this site). HTMS Chang is a bucket list wreck site for a good reason, just cross your fingers and toes for good visibility and bring a torch, too! :D both the dive shop and the boats have seasick pills for everyone; if you visit during shoulder or rainy season i highly suggest taking one maybe even two pills before walking to the boat; yes, even if you don’t typically get seasick. the boat rides were intense BUT you must go through some choppy waves to arrive to the peaceful calm waters, with better visibility at this time of year than the local sites, of the Koh Rang marine park. be prepared for a 400 baht park entrance fee, which BB divers will advise you of, so there were no surprises there! and it’s so worth it in my opinion. if you made it this far into my review, here’s the last point i’ll make: if you have great air consumption you will be rewarded! i started my diving trip in pattaya and while there, on a 8-4pm diving day was having 28-40min dives each and surfacing with so much air left. whereas, at BB 8-4pm, nearly every dive was around 60min. a full day of diving in pattaya netted about an hour and a half in the water, if i was lucky. at BB you’re about three hours in the water. my hands have never been so pruney (positive)! this is a crucial difference that guarantees that i will visit BB divers again and will have to come back during a future whale shark season ;) last LAST thing for any trans people; i am non-binary/genderqueer and use they/them pronouns. this came up organically in conversation with Raven (who is so down to earth and made me feel very comfortable as soon as i entered the dive centre) my first day at BB’s dive shop and from then on, all of my divemasters made at least an effort to respect this. certainly not something i’d expect on a Thailand diving trip, but all divemasters spoke english very well and tried their best which i greatly appreciated and it allowed me to be my full self while on board. i wasn’t just a passenger on a dive boat, but felt like part of the team. :) it felt so nice at this company to not feel like the odd one out this time, of a water sport that can attract a bit of a homogenous crowd! (peace and love <3) i could just relax and enjoy the dives to the fullest without any weird on-boat feelings that can sometimes occur with other dive centres/divemasters. or not feel comfortable to say anything at all about it and just get she/her’d day in and day out, which dampens the fun energy that i enjoy exuding. it feels good to do the thing you love as 100% who you are so that you’re able to genuinely enjoy the time spent with everyone around you at BB divers.

  Awesome experience, I will definitely book another trip. Went wrek diving with a super cool, chilled out dive instructor named Steve. Had a great time and I I would highly recommend to go with him ✨👌 All in all a great day out on the water.

  I had the pleasure of diving with BB Divers over two incredible days on Koh Chang, and I can't recommend them highly enough. I booked the 6 dives package. On April 9th, I joined Adrian and Adam for a three-dive day - my first with the team. From the very start, everything ran smoothly: transport was well-organized, the briefings were clear and thorough, and both Adrian and Adam made me feel completely at ease. Every question I had - no matter how small - was answered with patience and genuine enthusiasm. The dive sites were absolutely stunning, and I felt safe and well looked-after throughout the entire day. On April 10th, I went out again with Steve, who continued that same high standard. His calm, professional approach, deep knowledge of the local sites, and genuinely great sense of humor made for another unforgettable day underwater. What really sets BB Divers apart is the team's warmth and dedication. You never feel rushed or like just another customer - they truly care about your experience. If you're looking for a dive operator on Koh Chang you can fully trust, look no further. I'll definitely be back!

  Everything was stress-free and well organised. The company was very accommodating - they were quite flexible with making changes or adapting (within reason) to fit our requirements. I did a one day trip, 3 dives in total. Steve who led the dive was fantastic: friendly, helpful, knew his stuff and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Will definitely dive with BB Divers again!

  Had a lovely diving trip with a refresher and three dives. Pickup and transfer from my hotel was included in the dive price. Oscar was a great and chill instructor. For the refresher we went trough some theory, the hand signs and practiced retrieving the regulator and clearing the mask. We then went on the first dive in the national park. Afterwards there was a proper thai lunch on board. Followed by two more fun dives. Saw some stingrays, mureana and big schools of fish. All in all a lovely day on a boat. Oscar was a great instructor and dive buddy. Will come again to check out the HMS Chang. Have fun and hang loose!

  We had again a nice day at the sea with BB Divers! My wife did snorkeling and i did 3 dives with Oscar. Oscar is really professional diver, perfect balance between safety and fun. I always feel comfort diving with him, Thank you Oscar and BB Divers team! Highly recommend and looking forward to make next diving&snorkeling trip with Oscar and BB Divers.

  This is my second time diving with BB Divers after I did my advanced open water with them over a year ago. We had a super day on the Koh Rang National Park trip. They make the booking process really straightforward and offer hotel pickup which makes the morning really seamless and stress-free. The boat crew couldn't have been more helpful, making sure we had plenty of refreshments and helped massively with our gear. I did 3 dives with Steve who was fantastic and really looked after us. He even made sure to get plenty of photos of us on the dive which was appreciated. I'll definitely be back to BB Divers next time I'm in Koh Chang

  I did 2 dives with Mr. Tam and one dive with Ms. Delfin. My wife did snorkeling. Everything was great, they both are professionals with safety first attitude. My wife had really good time with snorkeling. Bonus: It was very good visibility at the wreck. I Highly recommend Tam & Delfin and Everyone at BB Divers, it was a great day again at the sea, thank you from a good diving & snorkeling trip BB Divers Koh Chang!

  Had 2 days of diving including a refresher, hadn't dived for couple of years and Steve Ellery was very reassuring, gave me loads of confidence to continue diving as well as being an excellent buddy pointing out so many different creatures. Dauphine partnered with me on the 2nd day for 3 dives including htms chang, kept me calm on entry of the first dive and assisted with the odd bouancy issue and loosing of my tank, extra guidance when needed. Overall fantastic instructors and experiencesr
