For morning tours, stop at a local home to hand roll traditional incense, a nearly forgotten trade in Cambodia. Afterwards, visit a local market to try popular Khmer snacks and desserts. Later, visit a rural Buddhist pagoda no other tourists see. Upon arrival in Kompong Khleang, take a boat through the village of near 3,000 residents and make a stop at the largest, flooded mangrove forest in Siem Reap. Take a canoe ride through the trees with a local resident. Afterwards, continue on the boat to see the magnificent Tonle Sap lake. Afternoon tours also enjoy sunset.

• Travel to Kompong Phluk • Make a stop on the way to hand roll traditional incense (morning) • Visit a local market to see how Khmers stops in the countryside. Try local snacks • Stop at a local pagoda to learn about Buddhism. Optional blessing from chief monk. • Arrive and board a boat which takes us through Kompong Phluk • Stop at the flooded forest and take a canoe through the village with a local resident. • See the Tonle Sap lake and then return home. Afternoon tours enjoy sunset Please note: • Our itinerary and timing is very flexible. If you would like to leave earlier or later please let us know. If you would like to shorten the day by avoiding stops we are happy to do so. If you see something of interest please feel free to stop with your guide. • We include water and snacks. 5.00Seeing the mangroves on a little boat and later the sunset was amazing! Our tour guide was also very nice and helpful, plus he truly tried to make our experience memorable.
