1000/10 the best experience of my trip. I am so glad we chose to do the manta ray snorkel, and that we did it with Hawaii Island and Ocean Tours!

Amazing and Definitely Worth it!! This was one of the best things we did while we were here! We saw rays, lots of fish and DOLPHINS!!! it was such an amazing experience. Highly recommend. Deavon, Leo, Danielle, Khayala...were the best group. They were professional, knowledgeable, fun and safe. I felt secure and safe during the entire experience! It was well worth the money and time spent.

Absolutely amazing! Saw so many rays. It was the best. Took two minutes to get to the spot. The rays were there within a few minutes of getting into the water.

We had an amazing time with Danielle, Davon, and Leo. We went out to do the night feeding of the manta rays. Which was utterly amazing time. The manta rays are magnificent creatures and the crew was very informative of them. The bonus of the trip was a pod of dolphins showed up. I would highly recommend this event and crew everything was truly breathtaking.

After reading the other 1-star reviews, I wish I had taken them more seriously because they were spot on. This company is disorganized, overpriced for what you receive, and unfortunately, the staff attitude made a disappointing experience even worse. From the very first interaction, Deavon set a negative tone. He was rude, dismissive, and a poor communicator. He sent out a text with the wrong arrival time, causing unnecessary confusion at check in. Once on the boat, the disorganization continued. The company charges $15 to rent a life jacket, a basic safety item, and I wasn't confident there were even enough (Coast Guard certified jackets) on board for all passengers if they had been needed. The guide (I believe her name was Khalayla) was condescending to guests, sassy with her coworkers, and spent more time bossing people around than providing a quality experience. The captain came across as equally disorganized and checked out. On the educational front, there was almost no value added. While trying to view marine life, you could hear staff personal conversations from the vessel, and the guides offered little to no interesting information beyond pointing out the 3–5 species directly in front of you. Shoutout to Leo though, he was great. We did not see manta rays, which I understand is never guaranteed. However, the company only offers rebooking, no refunds, which feels like a poor policy given the overall lack of value delivered. This was one of the worst tours I've taken on this island. I won't be returning, and I strongly encourage you to spend your money with a company that will give you a meaningful and enjoyable experience, even on a night without mantas.

Devon, captain Danielle and Leo were amazing! This experience was worth every dime! We saw multiple rays and even got the rare visit from a pod of dolphins swimming around us too! Totally unbelievable! Leo also told us all types of information about manta rays! Highly highly recommend!

Staff was great. I remember the name Greg, who was fun and knowledgeable. The others were great too, I just don't remember their names. :) Really fun experience. My 2 littler boys (age 5 and 7) were a little too scared to get in the water from the boat. So I would just caution that while I know they would have enjoyed it had they got in, jumping from the boat into the water at night time might be scary for the extra little ones.
