Learn about Korea’s divided history at the Korean Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) on a half-day tour, led by an informative guide. In the morning or afternoon, travel from Seoul to the DMZ, where the country has been split since the Korean War, to visit fascinating sites such as Imjingak Park, the Freedom bridge, the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and the DMZ exhibition hall. At Dora Observatory, you can even peer through binoculars to observe village life in North Korea.

What To Expect
Your friendly guide will come to pick you at your centrally located hotel in Seoul in the pointed schedule. After all guests are collected, you will be transfer directly to DMZ.
Get out at Imjingak Park along the banks of Imjin River to see artillery and war artifacts that were used during the Korean conflict before proceeding to Freedom bridge, where nearly 13,000 Korean POWs crossed on their return back home to South Korea.

5.00Even with the promise of hearing a North Korean defectors story, a highlight for my reluctant tourist husband was AJ from Seoul City Tour, she was our knowledgeable guide--- Very patient with our group though kept us on schedule during the 8a-3p tour. Going beyond the call of duty, AJ even offered her What's App contact if we seek Seoul sights & restaurant recommendations. While she covered several venues in the day-long tour the itinerary didn't feel rushed. We had ample time to also enjoy an all you can eat Korean buffet lunch (KW 13,000) and shop for DMZ souvenirs. A side benefit to the excursion is the cardio workout we got traversing the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel and hiking up to the red suspension bridge at Gamaksan Mt.

5.00AJ from Seoul City tours was fantastic . I actually overheard other grumpy tour guides on the trip and felt I was so fortunate to have AJ because she was extremely informative, cheerful, caring and committed to making sure all the members of our completely full bus had a great experience.
First time in South Korea and AJ (apple juice) made the visit much better.

5.00Educational, fun, and well-paced. AJ with Seoul City Tour was super friendly, and helpful! The full day tour is a reasonable price for all the sites you get to see. The bus was nearly full, but AJ made the tour still feel welcoming and inclusive. Great vibes and a good way to find a unique experience in Korea that you cannot get anywhere else!
