DMZ
The DMZ is a unique area where you can observe one country being divided into two. With this tour, you will visit the 3rd Tunnel, DMZ Exhibition hall, Dora observatory and Unification village. Experience the tension but hope for peace in Korea and learn about their history and future. [DMZ Theater & Exhibition Hall] The DMZ Theater and Exhibition Hall offers videos and key artifacts that help visitors understand the painful history of Korea’s division. With displays of photographs, documents, and remnants from the past, visitors can gain a deeper and clearer insight into the historical events that led to the division of the Korean Peninsula.
Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak Park, originally established as a place of solace for refugees from North Korea during the Korean War, features several symbolic monuments such as the Freedom Bridge, the Soldiers’ Memorial, and the Peace Bell. Adjacent to it, Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park offers visitors a chance to reflect on Korea’s history, the ongoing tensions, and hopes for peace. With monuments like the Mangbaedan, a war-damaged steam locomotive, and open spaces dedicated to remembrance and harmony, the area holds strong potential to be designated as an international peace park.

It was an all day tour with an early start but was worth it. It was physically challenging for me personally going down tunnel 3, and back again, but glad I did it. The viewing point to North Korea was very special. The memorial park was peaceful and tranquil. I personally did not do the suspension bridge but sat relaxing waiting for my group to return. It was an unforgettable experience. Evan was our guide and he couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you Evan for looking after us.

The DMZ tour in a small group is incredibly fun. And you also have more opportunities to ask questions and not experience things like a mass handling. You're more flexible. It's definitely not for late risers. The tour starts very early. But getting up early is worth it. Our guide Sook-hee welcomes you very friendly and it is really fun to let her explain things. She responds to everyone and has many stories to tell. You get a little insight into life in North Korea. At the end of the day you are just tired but have seen a lot for it.
