Went with our guide Sally from Viator. Excellent guide that made the tour fun. Very passionate and informative about the history of South Korea. Visit only if you have time. Overview of a historic village preserved for future generations.

We visited the Korean Folk Village with Sally (Seoul City Tour). Sally's knowledge of Korean history and her English Language were both very good. Our experience was made better for having Sally as our guide.

💯 present recommended. Tour guide was great. Insadong nice place to shop and eat. Cable car ride to to the Tower with magnificent Views of Seoul. Namsan Folk village preserves traditional Korean Architecture. Loved it.

Very good afternoon trip out of Seoul. It was about and hour drive from our city centre hotel, 2 hours in the folk village and over an hour drive back due to traffic. We chose this tour as it was our last day in Korea and we had a night flight back home, so it was great way of spending afternoon between hotel check out and travelling to the airport. The village itself was a good experience, walking around with the guide explaining about the history etc.

The day of my tour was raining all day, so we did it in the rain, too bad, the place itself needs more attraction, my friend and I did not know it was not a real village. For an outside of the city experience it was alright.

Very nice place to visit. Our guide was great. Definitely would recommend visiting the place. There are performances in traditional outfits.

We ended up doing the full day tour due to cancelation of the half day tour. We needed whole full day to experience the village, hakf day tour is not enough. Must see the shows and food options were great!

Well worth the visit.Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking over uneven terrain. Good place to learn about how the Koreans lived and different strata in society.
