5.00Our guide Kichan Lee was outstanding. His knowledge of Korean history, ww2, and politics is deep and broad. He makes everything so interesting, and is able to answer all questions clearly and succinctly and honestly. His English is superb.

5.00Lee Kichan, my guide on this tour, was incredibly informed and passionate, discussing the terrible social cost of the Korean War. He runs Co-op Gangwon Peace Tours in Gangwon Province, closer to the North Korean border. This was one of his first tours at the Korean War Memorial in Seoul, and I highly recommend people seeking him out as a guide. I would not have appreciated anywhere near as much of the exhibits, and they are not designed to tell the social backstory - you need Lee Kichan to do that!

5.00Tour guide’s explanation and additional material made a complex topic very understandable. If we tackled this in our own we would have been struggling, the tour guide was excellent at adding context and explaining what happened
