We had such a wonderful tour with Petar! We were so lucky to get this last minute tour scheduled because our cruise ship cancelled the excursion we had signed up for originally. This ended up being much better than what we would have done with the cruise tour. Petar took us all around the Kotor area and taught us all about Montenegro. He worked with us to make sure we had plenty of time to see everything and get back to our cruise ship on time. We had grandparents with us who are not super mobile and he made sure this tour worked for everyone. We ended up getting our favorite photos from the whole vacation- absolutely beautiful!

The tour itself was OK, a lot of driving, at least 2.5-3 hours total, thru a lot of construction sites. On a hot, sunny 33 degree celsius day. But the VW Touran we were in did not have a reasonably functioning air conditioning, or fan, for the three of us stuck in the back seat of this normal sized sedan (another passenger in the front seat). We asked repeatedly for the driver to turn up the air conditioning, and he said he had done what he could. When I said at the end of the tour to the driver that this vehicle, an older model, is not acceptable for tourist tours, he immediately replied that "We use it every day." Well it needs the air conditioner to be recharged, and the fan fixed, or it needs to be sidelined. A van was used for this same tour, for another group. So please write your rebuttal and tell me how wrong I am, but I'm not.

There is road work between kotor and budva so driving is slow. Car didn't have good air conditioning which was a bit hard. Milo our guide was very nice and informative which made up for that

Originally booked for 11am as we have had previous experience with the lengthy Norwegian cruise tender process. Tour operator asked us to meet at 10am - agreed with the proviso of the tender. We made it for 10am and met our driver who was very welcoming and efficient. He made us aware another group of 5 from the ship would join us but they were delayed. He took us to Perast and left us to find our way around and get the ferry (10 euros each) to lady of the Rock whilst he returned for the other group. He collected at 12 and the group arrived 12.20. We set off to Budva but due to traffic and the delays we concluded we would not make it there and back in time. We turned around and went to Trojica for selfies above Kotor. It was agreed that the best way forward was for the driver to take the other group to Perast and we would do our own tour of Kotor old town under our own steam in the short time remaining on shore. Whilst the driver did his best in the circumstances and could not be faulted our trip was heavily compromised by the tour company’s decision to combine two bookings in 1 trip. I would not recommend this tour as we would have had a better day (at considerably less cost) on shore by choosing 1 of the many operators waiting at the port, including a hop on hop off bus.
