Lovely excursion. Saw the sights, learned some history, and took incredibly beautiful pictures. Knowledgeable tour guide with a nice mix of guided and independent time.

This tour was nice. Kotor is beautiful, and it was a good way to get a relaxing tour. However, we would have taken a boat day on this port. Kotor just didn't have enough.

The is a very good tour. A+. The guide took is to all the sites! We enjoyed seeing Kotor this way! If you want to see more than what is walkable from the port, book this trip!

Wonderful visit to Kotor with our tour guide Andro. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about Montenegro history. He was flexible to meet our sightseeing requests. We especially enjoyed visiting Perast and Lady of the Rocks. Easy pick up and drop off at port.

We had problems getting off the ship due to tender issues, so we were grateful that the operator waited for us. We were driven to Perlast and dropped off for an hour. We were next taken to a scenic view point above the bay. We were then dropped off at Old Town to end the excursion. Even though we were late, we feel that the amount charged for this excursion was a very poor value for the money.

We enjoyed the stops and the beautiful scenery of Montenegro. Our tour guide was on the quiet side and was informative when asked. I felt like he could have offered more on the history. If you take this your, maybe ask for more information/questions

Enjoyed the sites but car was too small for group and guide needed to speak better English and have more knowledge of sites.

Where do I begin. We met up with our tour at the designated pickup spot. The biggest issue we encountered, was at the very beginning. There were 8 people in our group. The minivan was built for 7 passengers. To do this tour, we needed to enter into this 7 passenger minivan. With four people in the back row, sitting on each other’s lap, we began the tour. There was a big safety concern in the event of an accident. Our driver was very nice and polite. He started off stating, “ I’m just a driver, not a tour guide.” The driver did provide some general information along our journey, pointing out “5 star resorts”, the age of some buildings, a little info on his home town, and our 1st stop. Our 1st stop was the “lady of the rock”. A little island only reachable by a short boat ride. The boat ride was optional. The advertised price in the tour description was 10 euros PP for the boat ride. We were taken to a “friends boat”, and charged 15 euros pp. Some friend. We were told this was a discounted price. On the pier, you could hire a boat for 10 euros. We get to the rock (island), there is another 3 euros to get into the cathedral. This was not advertised. None of the above was an issue, just a surprise. The lady of the rock was very nice to see. The views were also very beautiful from the rock. Back into the undersized van. Next we stopped in tivat, which wasn’t on our itinerary. We were told to walk around and be back in 1.5 hours. The stop was in a marina, with shops and restaurants. We asked about Budva. We were told we were not going to Budva, which was part of our itinerary. Next we squeezed back into the van. We traveled to a ferry. While on the ferry, we asked to get out of the van, and we were told the ferry ride is approximately 5 mins. “Please stay in the van.” Remember, we’re not very comfortable in the back seat. Once across the water, we drove around a scenic roadway for approximately 15 mins. We had a 5 minute stop to take pictures. Very nice views of the bay. Back in the minivan, we headed back to the port, and dropped off. Our expectations were definitely not met on this tour. Fortunately, we had a very nice group of people on this tour, and we made the best of our situation. I did reach out to Royal Services during our tour to express the above. The replay is below. “Thanks for asking and I completely understand your concerns. There are heavy road and construction works between Kotor and Budva, that’s why it’s not possible to go to Budva and to guarantee back on time (there are long delays most of the time, and usually cruise passengers are informed about this on the ship). You will go to Trojica viewpoint after Tivat. Our 8+1 seater broke down last night so this was the best we could do. I apologize for that to everyone in the group.”
