Experience one of the most memorable lessons of modern history. Visit UNESCO World Heritage Site, a former Nazi concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau, where more than a million Jews and other prisoners were oppressed or killed during World War II. The flower strewn Death Wall, national memorials, gas chambers and crematoriums, preserved ruins, the remains of hundreds of barracks, watchtowers, the railway line and ramp - all this forms a moving testimony to the number of those who lost their lives. The tour is led by a sensitive, licensed and local guide which helps to understand the touching history and cruel things that happened there.
-Live-guided tour of Auschwitz & Birkenau (visit both camps)
-Travel from Krakow choosing hotel pickup or meeting point
-Learn the history of World War II, Nazi Holocaust and the liberation
-Avoid crowds skipping the long line for individual visitors
Specialized infant seats are available
Suitable for all physical fitness levels
DEPARTURE: The hours you book are tentative and may change due to schedule at the Auschwitz Museum and traffic conditions.
DOCUMENTS: You must provide full names of all participants when reserving and bring a passport or ID for entry to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. Without these, entry may be denied.
VISIT: At Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum, hundreds visit daily, making individual pacing difficult. Respectful behavior and smart casual dress are mandatory. Eating, smoking, and loud behavior are prohibited on-site.
PICKUP: Some Krakow hotels are in traffic-restricted zones. Pickup will be arranged from the nearest accessible point, with prior notification.
LUNCH: Lunch is not included. There's no time for a regular meal between visits to Auschwitz and Birkenau, so bring a snack. A grocery shop, snack bar, and restaurant are NOT available on-site.
SECURITY: Be prepared to go through a security check (similar to the airport's one) in order to enter Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum.
WEATHER: We operate in all weather conditions. Up to 70% of the time you spend outdoors (especially at Auschwitz II Birkenau). Please bring weather appropriate clothing and water on sunny days.
CHILDREN: Children must be accompanied by an adult. Infant seats are available. A visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum can be traumatic, therefore we recommend that visitors should be at least 13 years old.
PICTURES: Visitors are generally allowed to take pictures with a few, clearly indicated exceptions. Taking photos in the buildings with the use of flash is forbidden.
RENOVATIONS: Due to extensive renovations in the western part of Krakow, we regret to inform you that we are currently unable to accommodate pickups from that area, because it causes traffic jams and delays. Also, the meeting point at Floriana Straszewskiego 19 (next to the Philharmonic) will be temporarily closed. For anyone who lives in the area, we can find a convenient and safe place for a pickup. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

We initially considered renting a car and driving ourselves, but this organized tour was much better. Excellent tour guide.

Zee was an excellent tour guide and made our day with his kindness and him being very knowledgable about the history of the camps. The wait to get into the camp was around an hour which we felt was a reasonable timing considering the number of people attending. There is understandably a lot of walking so our feet did get sore, but we felt the pace was good and we were glad not to have anything booked after the tour, as it is an emotional day - forgot to take a raincoat so recommend having one to hand also

We booked the smaller group (max 15). After hearing so many horror stories about people’s visits being cancelled the day before, if you book this your with this company (hello Cracow) you will not be disappointed. Very professional, great communication- they message instantly upon booking the. Again few days before but most importantly will respond quickly to any queries. The lunchbox was also great value and I would recommend especially if you arrived late the night before and didn’t get time to sort your own out beforehand (was approx £9 per person for baguettes, apple, banana, juice carton, 2 x chocolate wafer desserts and bottle of water). The transport and river were also excellent and comfortable, due to the smaller group booking this was a larger taxi (8 seater). Due to the smaller group booking means we didn’t need to join the huge security checked queue so once we arrived we were in within 10 mins however, cheaper and larger groups had to wait 1-4 hours depending on quality of provider. I would highly recommend hello cracow
