I booked 3-4 weeks in advance from 8am to 3pm and a few days before they changed it from 11am to 6pm. It required a bit of gymnastic on my part to fit it in the schedule which I did not really appreciated. As for the trip, I’d say it’s worth it.

How do you write a review about Auschwitz-Birkenau? I’m not a ‘guided-tour’ person and like to do things independently. However, if you’re considering going, do book with Viator as the guides were brilliant, pick up easy and there was no stress. You won’t get in if you just rock up. This day will stay with me forever and I feel humbled and moved to have been there. I learnt so much and am still processing.
