We had an awesome day at Auschwitz and Birkenau, as overwhelming and confronting as it was, but although shocking history we wanted to respect the place and its history. The tour was largly good, the meeting place was well organised, the bus trip was comfortable, the meal that was extra was good value. The only problem was the guide (which is a pretty important component of the trip)!. Unfortunately I cant remember his name as I would publish if I did - a tall thick-set Polish blonde man - he got irritated when we asked questions, and wasn't nearly as forthcoming as the other guide on the trip (the bus was sorted into 2 groups). I would recommend the visit - but look out for this guide and try and avoid him!

Izabella was our tour guide and she was absolutely brilliant. Very friendly, very informative and she really evoked emotion when telling the stories of the victims/ few survivors. She was brilliant and she really made the experience memorable and cathartic. We will take away the lessons of Auschwitz as she told us to and spread the important message it serves. It is obviously a gut-wrenching experience, the scale of Birkenau was genuinely so overwhelming and horrific, but once again it was necessary to observe to understand the scale of fascism and how badly it can destroy the world and lives of innocent people. I personally think it is so important that people visit once in their lifetime. It is such an important lesson, and it is a warning to humanity. A very well preserved historic museum, and you 100% should visit. I hope every victim of Auschwitz found peace in the after-life.

This tour was an emotionally heavy experience, and equally an important and crucial reminder of a tragic history. To be within the space of horrific human experience(s) firsthand gave light to a perspective worth valuing. All stories should be shared and honored. Our tour guide Hubert and his accompanied Historian colleague were both very proficient in their knowledge, and sensitive in the delivery when sharing the Holocaust history.

A very well organised trip to Aushwitz and Birkenau. Communication was great from start to finish and transport in a comfortable vehicle for a small group with a friendly driver. The tour was long and it was a very hot day. Be prepared for lots of walking and make sure you have drinks to hand. The tour guide was very informative and the pace matched the slowest walkers. An experience not to be missed.

We have been to Auschwitz Birkenau several years ago, we were not expecting that the Auschwitz camp has had a major overhaul so the start and finish has improved. Having said that, the tour from Krakow is 90 minutes away, there is a lot of walking, we did 17000 steps, so take water. There is plenty of time to get around both camps and the guide is very knowledgeable. You do see pretty much everywhere.

A visit to Auschwitz Birkenau Guided is something you have to doin yopur life if you feel Human. I would like to be able to spend more time and have a slower pace, but there were too many people waiting ahead and after us. Do your study before visiting so you know what to expect.
