National Museum (photo stop) The Muzium Negara building features a striking Minangkabau-style roof, which is a traditional design commonly associated with the Malay culture, particularly from the Minangkabau region in Indonesia. The main entrance of the museum is flanked by two large murals made of Italian glass mosaic, contributing to the museum's artistic and cultural significance. This architecture reflects Malaysia's rich heritage and the museum's role in preserving and showcasing the nation's history and culture.
Istana Negara
Istana Negara is Malaysia’s National Palace. Its grounds are not open to the public, so the Main Palace Entrance is usually the spot where tourists take pictures. Istana Negara is bordered by a wall with the Malaysian coat of arms, featuring the Royal Insignia of His Majesty, placed on the steel bars between each fenced pillar. The cypress and casuarina-lined driveway leads to two entrances – the East Wing and West Wing.

We had a great experience on the Half Day KL City Guided Tour with our guide, Chandran, and captain, Terence. The atmosphere throughout the tour was very fun, relaxed, and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The tour started around 2:30 PM at the Berjaya Times Square meetup point and ended around 6:00 PM at the Petronas Twin Towers picture stop. Everything was very organized and went smoothly from start to finish. Chandran was very knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about what he does. He shared interesting information about Kuala Lumpur and also helped take great photos for us along the way. Terence drove very safely and made the trip comfortable for everyone. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur!

My wife and I had a great experience on this tour. Our guide, Sasi, was very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Malaysia and especially Kuala Lumpur itself. We really learned a lot about the history of Malaysia. Sasi explained to us about the Sultans, their families and how the lived and ruled to the British colonization period. He also taught us about the different ethnicities and different religions that make up the people of Malaysia and how they learn to live together in harmony.
