We visited Mount Wellington on 2 June, but unfortunately the weather was very poor that day. Visibility at the summit was almost zero, and we could not see any of the views that the mountain is famous for. The entire lookout was covered by cloud and fog, so looking down from the top was impossible. I understand that the weather is beyond anyone’s control, but the experience felt disappointing given the time and cost involved in getting there.

Great experience. The driver ?Greg was entertaining with his info delivery. He also knew I had booked a one way trip and ensured I could make it safely down the mountain by providing info and a map. Going so far as to draw on the map the route I should take. I had a thoroughly enjoyable 13km pro-dominantly downhill trail run back to Hobart CBD through some very picturesque trails.

Excellent, flexible, knowledgeable. Was great to be able to spend a couple of hours walking and then catch a later bus down. Driver was excellent. Felt very safe. He was also very accommodating, and dropped ua close to our accommodation.

What a great trip! Tony had so many stories and was out helping everyone with their photos at stop overs. Reaching the summit was a huge Wow moment. The weather changed so quickly, but we had the comfort of the bus to return to. A must do when you’re in Hobart. Thanks Tony, I thoroughly enjoyed the experience

An all-round great experience. But it was so INCREDIBLY cold on the mountain top. The driver (Tony - loverly guy, rubbish jokes!!) warned us it would be, they had hand warmers for sale and a couple of extra coats to borrow. Tony had great in-depth and interesting knowledge on the area which he shared with us with his positive attitude and a sense of good fun. I would heartily recommend this two-and-a-half-hour experience. It's good value and well worth it.
