We loved this whole trip, there was enough time to do all that we wanted, and Barron falls is stunningly beautiful. It is a great idea that the Scenic Cablecar is broken up into 3 parts. We had lunch at the Kuranda pub, and the food was lovely, A wander around the Kuranda markets was a lovely way to end the day. I would encourage visitors to do the Koala Park, the bird and butterfly enclosures. The train is so hot that putting fans in would be a good idea, though we did bring portable handheld fans. Not once did the staff ask if we were ok, we were in the last carriage. I had no idea that I could have upgraded to the first-class cabins which would have made our return trip much more comfortable. Also, the staff really need to check on their customers, it is a long day, it is hot and there are elderly people and people with disabilities. It would have been nice if we had of been acknowledged by staff just once on our return trip, but we weren't, I assume it was because we were not in the first-class cabins, but we paid our money just like everybody else. I also think you need courtesy shuttles from the top of the stairs ay Kuranda to the Koala Park etc for those that have disabilities, as I do. I have had x 2 back operations and a hip replacement and I found it hard going to walk such a long distance up hill.

Railway & cable car are great, but this tour provides no value. The tour charges a significant mark-up just to buy the tickets for you and organize a bus that picks you up from the hotel and drops you at the sky rail. No tourguide, no information. Purchase the railway and cable car ticket by yourself and Uber from your hotel to the sky rail (very easy).

The Skyrail gives you an amazing view of the rainforest. Even saw some Kangaroos in a field. Kuranda takes you back to what the world looked like 100s of years ago. The village had many interesting art items. Loved this excursion.

Both the Gondola trip and the train trip were unique and beautiful experiences. Highly recommend doing both! The town of Kuranda was also a fun place to hang out and enjoy. Had a great lunch at the Birdwing Cafe!
