Discover Kutná Hora the comfortable way — without the rushing typical of most tours. Spend a full day exploring in a small group at a relaxed, unhurried pace.
After convenient hotel pickup in Prague, we begin at a rarely visited folk village museum. We peek into traditional huts and learn about Czech crafts and traditions.
After lunch, we explore Kutná Hora, once one of Europe’s richest towns. Visit two cathedrals, stroll cobblestone lanes and see the Royal Mint and Palace. We also stop at viewpoints or meet artisans like a winemaker, ceramicist or jeweler.
We end the day at the Bone Church (Sedlec Ossuary), visiting in the late afternoon when it is usually quieter, before returning to Prague.
Please note: The folk museum is closed on Mondays and in winter (Nov, Dec 31–Mar 15). On these dates, we visit alternatives such as Český Šternberk Castle or the Folk Costume Museum.

Great tour! Was the perfect option for an all day tour - every single other tour I saw was either for a few hours just seeing the bone church, or a completely private tour. This was the perfect middle ground, saw a BUNCH of churches, all unique. Ondrej was a wealth of information and literally knew everything about every place, even some secret spots that he was able to get us access to. Great guide, and deserves every bit of praise! Trip apt for young and old alike. Not too physically demanding but interesting for all ages. The bone church itself was INCREDIBLE and fascinating. No pictures shown because photos are prohibited for now in the church. But literally the most unique thing I’ve seen in Europe so far.

We had an absolutely wonderful trip today with Ondřej to Kutná Hora, and it was easily one of the highlights of our time here. From the moment we met, Ondřej came across as warm, friendly, and genuinely attentive. His knowledge is deep, but what truly stands out is how naturally he shares it, with an ease and enthusiasm that never feels scripted. It honestly felt like spending the day with a well-travelled friend who also happens to know every story, detail, and nuance that brings a place to life. A special mention for how thoughtfully he shaped the experience for our group. He was mindful of our pace and preferences throughout, and he effortlessly wove in the Ethnographic Museum, which added a beautiful layer of context and meaning to the day. Along the way, he also pointed out hidden gems, especially in and around the churches, little details and quieter corners we would have walked past on our own, but which ended up becoming some of our most memorable moments. Polite, professional, warm-hearted, and truly engaging, Ondřej has a rare gift for making a tour feel both seamless and personal. We highly recommend taking a tour with Ondřej, and we are genuinely grateful for how pleasant, welcoming, and enriching he made the entire day. Thank you, Ondřej.

I did two tours with Czechout Tours. Cesky Krumlov and Kutna Hora, and I cannot say enough good things about them. Ondrej went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. He picked us up in a spacious and comfortable van. I also appreciated that he had water and some snacks as we left quite early in the morning. He was a very safe driver and the trip was super comfortable with a great playlist. I appreciated the little details like having umbrellas for us when it rained and that he drove to car to us instead of getting us to walk to him. The days were well paced and did not feel rushed. I also appreciated the little coin gift he had for us. It was such a fun experience! I cannot recommend his tours enough.

I went on a private tour with Ondrej and it was outstanding from start to finish! Ondrej is extremely charming, funny, knowledge, and passionate for his craft. I felt like I was spending the day with an old friend rather than a tour guide! Ondrej knew exactly where to go and when, avoiding crowds and getting the us the absolute best views and atmosphere. He was full of interesting facts and clearly did his research on the locations which was greatly appreciated. I felt extremely safe and comfortable the whole time. Ondrej took excellent care of me, providing drinks/snacks and offering to drop me for a restaurant reservation on the journey back. Ondrej even put on the Kingdom Come Deliverance soundtrack for the journey home after I mentioned liking the game! I’ll 100% be booking another tour with him next time I'm in Czechia! He's a hidden gem and was absolutely the highlight of my trip. Thanks Ondrej!

We found the tour by chance and it was a real gem between all the major providers! Our tour guide simply contacted us via WhatsApp and picked us up right at the hotel. He is very very friendly and you feel right in good hands!!! On the tour we learned a lot about the historic buildings and their history. The bone church must be seen! Our lunch was local and delicious! I recommend trying the kofla (Czech cola). We laughed a lot and it felt like you were traveling more with a friend than a tour guide. I recommend the tour to anyone who values a small group, quality and knowledge! We will definitely come back:) Cheers

Look no further—this is the day trip you want to take to escape the bustle of Prague! Ondrej is an incredible guide: friendly, engaging, and a walking encyclopedia of local history. Every stop came alive through his stories, and he went above and beyond to make the day special. Unlike large group tours, Ondrej includes thoughtful extras—delicious local bites, hidden gems, and his favorite small shops you’d never find on your own. His passion for the region and genuine care for his guests shine through every detail. To top it all off, he even dropped me off at another great spot he recommended and handed me his umbrella to keep when it started to rain—who does that anymore? Truly above and beyond. If you want an authentic, personal, and unforgettable day trip, book this tour. You’ll leave with new memories, a full belly, and a big smile!

Our tour guide Ondrej was amazing, he was very friendly and efficient. He added little things which made the tour even better, he took us to a silver museum so that we could make a coin to keep and we had fun singing along to some music. The tour was excellent, I really enjoyed the village and the bone church was unique. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was the best tour of my Prague, Vienna, Budapest vacation. Ondrej is a great guide, very attentive, and willing to make the extra effort to make your tour a wonderful experience. Could not have asked for anything more, and at a great price. Be sure to include the Sedlec Ossuary as part of your tour.
