Our guide, Yuka was so knowledgeable and prepared. I feel like we got the maximum out of the experience and there is NO WAY we would have been able to navigate everything and see all we saw without her help. This was 1000% worth booking and we are SO GLAD we decided to do it. If you book this tour, please request Yuka, you won't be disappointed. So professional and warm.

We had a wonderful guide for our tour, and that made a huge difference. Yukino Shiraga (Yuki) contacted well ahead of time, asked what we might be interested in, made suggestions and tailored the perfect day for us. We went to Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Byodoin Hououdou in the village of Uji (where we also had a fabulous lunch), and finished at Nijo Castle. Fuki had great stories to tell of the history of the places, the traditions of the Buddhist and Shinto religions represented, and of the historic periods of the nation’s history. We peppered her with questions and she handled our curiosity perfectly. It was a terrific day for us.

Our guide Yuka was very sweet and full of energy! We were able to go over most of the spots my family was interested in with the time given. She was accommodating and showed us some lovely spots. My family enjoyed our tour very much!

Great day of visiting Kyoto’s beautiful history. We visited the Imperial Palace, To-gi Temple and Senbon Torii (1000 gates). Our tour guide Akira was well prepared with lots of photos and diagrams which greatly helped explain what we were seeing. This was an English speaking tour and Akira was very easy to understand. My wife and I are seniors and Akira kept the pace that was perfect for us.
