Nami was filled with so many informative and interesting facts. Our group was small so she was able to answer all our questions. Teaching us how to tell which was a boarding house for the Maiko and Geiko was also a bonus. It made exploring the streets of Gion fun.

Our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable about the local area and geisha culture. Unfortunately though, we did not see any geishas, the tour is just a walk around the streets with the tour guide pointing out geisha houses. Not sure if we were unlucky but it hindsight it didn’t feel like it quite delivered what we were hoping for.

Loved this tour of Gion with Nami!! She is very kind and informed, and she answered all my questions as we walked through a couple of historic districts. We even saw a few geiko!! I was so glad she had taught us how to behave respectfully. I learned a lot and felt that the tour was an excellent value
