A enjoyable couple of hours wandering around the Gion District learning about Geisha. Our guide Dai was great sharing his knowledge on what was a very busy and crowded evening and we learnt such a lot about the history present and future of this fascinating part of Japanese culture. He was able to lead us through the crowds to the best places and point out things we would otherwise have missed. We strongly recommend this tour as great introduction to Kyoto.

It was interesting, but the guide was not credible with his facts. Multiple times he was contradictory and did not make sense.

Very informative and at the height of the bloom. Our tour guide Dai even waited for us as we ran a bit late in the thick Sakura crowds. We learned the history of this beautiful art form and some of the challenges that these people face. There is an ugly side too, which I did not know about and our guide took extra time to share with us. Truly generous and educational.

Melanie was an awesome guide. She was not only fun, but extremely knowledgeable. You could tell she has a passion for Japan and its history. I would highly recommend booking the geisha tour with this company.
