The tour conducted by Deborah was an education on the geisha culture as it directly relates to the Japanese culture that puts high value yo hardwork. Deborah's Geisha stories were about women subjected to rigorous training on music, arts, refined behavior and Japanese traditional ways to entertain not unlike training to be a ballet dancer or a pianist. Geisha is a profession just like pianist is. Deborah's tour was educational, correcting my pre-conceived idea on geisha.
