5.00I booked that 2h tour of Gion district to introduce my parents to Geiko and Maiko culture. Melanie did a great job showing us the main points of interest and explaining the origins of tea houses and kabuki. We really enjoyed seeing Gion at night. It was quiet and dreamy!

The pace was good, the meet up spot was clear and it was an easy walk through crowded areas. It’s a perfect amount of time for this tour. Definitely recommend!

5.00Our tour guide, Yuki was incredibly passionate, knowledgeable, and fun throughout the entire experience. Being a local who has lived in Kyoto his whole life gave the tour such an authentic feel, and you could tell how much he truly loves sharing the culture and history of the city.
