Interesting tour but it was too long without a short break to grab a snack or rest from standing so long.

Melanie was amazing and knowledgeable, i had an incredible time learning more about history, geishas and meikos. Lots of things i didnt know about but it was really interesting and worth going! I went in the evening which was really nice as the streets were not crowded and the streets were very pretty. I also ended up not wearing enough layers as i had been out all day but Melanie was also really kind and had given me a handwarmer!

Miki did a very nice job, very knowledgeable and we hope that she can continue learning more about the culture to share it with those who do not understand much of the uses and practices and do not speak Japanese.

I booked the tour half an hour earlier and one of the best decisions in Kyoto, we were lucky and saw a maiko in Gion. Miki our guide knows a lot about the subject and how to appreciate it with respect.
