Manny was so knowledgeable about Geisha and Kyoto - I learned so much about beautiful Gion and feel like I have a much better understanding of the history of the area that we are staying in, and a new appreciation for the geisha culture and history. We had such a great time in spite of the rain! (And we spotted some gaiko and maiko even in the bad weather.)

My guide Ayumi was AMAZING 🤩😻. She was not only informative but passionate about her content for the tour!!! Everyone visiting or staying in the gion area of Kyoto should take this tour to learn about the culture that is present. We were so fortunate to come across a few meiko and geiko while on our tour. She taught us the correct way to interact and be around them. Without her I would've never known it was not respectful to take pictures from the front of their faces. Days later I was walking in another area and came across a meiko and had my phone out trying to navigate where I was going. I could tell the meiko was concerned I would try and take a picture. I put my phone away in my pocket to express that I would not take her picture and it was nice to see her posture and actions change because of what I was taught. This experience was top notch and I would recommend it to anyone in the area
