4.00This is the second time to Kyoto and our 2nd Gion tour. The tour is good to explain the unique aspects of Gion that you would not notice without a guide. Our guide was from London, so language was not a problem, which can be with local but English speaking guides. He was a good guide, but he tended to walk a bit to fast for the women in the tour and spoke fast too, so you really had to pay attention. 3 folks were late, so I think he had to speed up to make up the lost time.

5.00It's an interesting walking tour, Melanie gave us lots of information about the area. We didn't see a Geisha but hopefully in another city we might. Now we can tell the difference.

5.00Our guide, Yuki, was very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable. You can tell how much he loves his culture and his passion for the geisha and maiko was obvious. He made sure all of our questions were answered and gave us unique insights to the history. I really enjoyed this tour and felt like I had a good look into the culture.
