He was over 70 years old, so he was anxious to keep up with his first bike tour, but he was very happy to enjoy the whole journey. It made me realize that there are ways to enjoy it. I would like to thank you again for your careful preparation and experienced leaders. I would love to participate if I had the opportunity again. Thank you for providing such wonderful memories.

I was able to feel the thoughts of the people who created Kyoto through a brazen walk through history that I took by bicycle. We were blessed with great weather and were able to enjoy it 100%. The guide's (good-looking w) voice is good, so it was easy to hear explanations of highlights. I wanted to participate again. Thank you very much.

As a family of four (56, 55, 19 16) we were extremely pleased with the way all communication was handled. Our guide Takashi met us at the station and then we were on our way. Sadly due to the Typhoon, the bike ride was not going to happen. We were forewarned and we just took our chances on the day, even though we were given another day to go or to cancel free of charge we chose to go ahead and try. We got our steps up and were whisked away to a beautiful shrine in the forest with NO TOURISTS, what a treat! We ate soba noodles and tempura for lunch, found snacks at local markets and shared stories with Takashi. Takashi studied in America, so his English was amazing and put us to shame with our very limited Japanese of hello and thankyou! We would definitely try our luck again, hopefully no Typhoon weather in sight next time!

What a wonderful way to see the sights of Kyoto. We loved our tour with Takashi-san and Brompton slow cycling. The bikes were surprisingly comfortable and easy to maneuver. And Takashi, our guide, was very pleasant and well-informed. He took us to many beautiful, interesting sights away from the crowds which made our time in Kyoto so much more enjoyable and worthwhile. And as an added bonus, the fresh air and exercise allowed us to have the best sleep we've had since arriving in Japan. This tour is definitely a winner.

When I visited Lake Biwa Canal on my first cycling tour, I thought that Kyoto was a wonderful place with a story more than I thought, even though I am from Kyoto. I enjoyed it while feeling the atmosphere, people, culture and history of Kyoto. Cycling along the canal feeling the wind was a very pleasant experience. In particular, because it was getting warmer, the view was really beautiful with cherry blossoms in some places. The whole organisation was really good and the people were soo nice and they try their best to give you unforgettable moments... Folding bikes are light and compact and fold down, and when I was on the move, I was so stress-free and comfortable that I forgot about folding, and I was able to ride hard roads effortlessly. Running along the Lake Biwa Canal was a pleasant experience, with a view of Kyoto. It was also a wonderful experience that I would like to visit again if I think Kyoto is full of water because of its history and culture. I'm glad I was able to push you! Also, I think the scenery of Kyoto will change with the season, so I want to join the cycling tour again ^^

It was fun to visit many famous places that are not accessible by car but are difficult to reach by walking. The guide was very knowledgeable about history and culture and showed me the unknown side of what I know as a tourist destination. I think this is a tour where you can go to hidden places you don't know even if you live there and experience the city more deeply.

Living in Kyoto on a storied cycling tour while knowing the history of the Lake Biwa Canal, but not knowing the history of Kyoto, it was an opportunity to feel more pride and respect for Kyoto where I live. It is a time to reflect on the history and the interaction with nature that cars overlook. I am truly grateful that I was able to spend a very philosophical good time learning while moving my body and naturally having my mind sorted and feeling empty.

I was able to experience the charm of Kyoto that only slow cycling can bring! I was able to ride with a navigator who knows the local area inside and out, which was an experience that could only be had here.

Cycling is a great way to explore Kyoto. So many tiny laneways, quiet streets and bike paths along the rivers and streams. Great local knowledge for finding hidden gems and tranquil alternatives when some places were way too crowded. The guide Takashi-san is a genuine nice guy who goes out of his way to help with anything. The fold-up bikes give the unique flexibility to jump onto a train whenever needed
