This was my best experience in Japan. Franki was my photographer and she was so kind and patient with me. She tried to get as much for me as possible in the time we had and even waited in line ahead of time at top photo spots before my arrival. The photos came out amazing! I’m sharing the one before their professional editing .

Our private kimono photoshoot in Kyoto was unforgettable. Wearing traditional kimonos together while walking through the historic streets felt like stepping back in time. The photographer made us feel relaxed and natural, guiding us with simple directions that made posing effortless. The final photos were stunning — elegant, authentic, and full of emotion. This experience gave us more than pictures; it gave us lasting memories of our time in Kyoto. Highly recommended for couples.

Me and my girlfriend had a wonderful experience with Mina. He was very knowledgeable of his craft, and had very nice locations to make photo shots at. It was enjoyable to spend a few hours with him. He was very patient and encouraging at helping us get great photos. We both really liked working with him and had a really fun time. I’d definitely recommend working with him.

First, the Kimono fitting experience, then the photography: Kimono choosing, if worried about color and matching a partner, takes 45-60min before the desired appointment time. The kimono rental place used is run by a group of foreign-to-Japan English-speaking seamstress' which are very helpful! But wear your own white undergarments... trust me. If you're a male with a larger than 56" chest, you'll need to buy a kimono in Tokyo yourself for correct fitting. For the photography session, there's plenty of pictures taken, and since you can only choose 30 or so, I recommend paying for the complete footage. That will give your party, some great candid shots with funny faces and ones where the background is more impressive than the humans in it. The charge is 10k extra Yen, but like I said, worth it! Mina, the photographer, was great and has a good eye for composition, color and shadows. The price paid was well worth the experience to get high quality photos, in great locations, without other tourists ruining the shots. Hire someone who knows what they're doing, to take your photos.
