5.00As a man, the thought of participating in a tea ceremony was uncertain and cautiously skeptical. I was I quite wrong in my pre-assessment and instead I thoroughly enjoyed it. From the selection and wearing of the haori to the photo shoot and the education and participation of the tea ceremony, I was very impressed. I would highly recommend this tea ceremony to everyone, male and female. Being half Japanese, this experience opened my eyes, heart and mind to the beauty and significance of this ceremony. Some may think it’s “expensive”. It is totally worth the experience! FYI. My personal photo was altered - hair, mustache.

5.00It was a beautiful experience. Our hosts were most welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Akira made it fun and you could tell he was proud of his heritage. He was a delight. We enjoyed learning about a small portion of Japanese culture. Our granddaughters were thrilled to dress up. My husband and son also liked it. It was great fun.
