Our family of 5 had a wonderful time dressing up in traditional clothing and taking part in the tea ceremony with a tea master. Everything was timed perfectly and handled well, from selecting our kimonos and accessories to making tea. The women in our group were amazed at how quickly and expertly they were dressed and had their hair styled by the staff. We were given ample time in several locations to take numerous photos. We would not only recommend others do this, but we would love to come back the next time we’re in Kyoto!

The tea ceremony was so special from start to finish. We were dressed by two sweet ladies in traditional ceremony outfits. And then guided through such a sacred and special tea ceremony with the tea master. At the end, we each got to try to make the tea which was so fun! It was a very memorable and sacred experience.

A beautiful experience!! The tea ceremony is a highly recommendable cultural activity; you learn about kimonos, the protocol of the ceremony, and the history of Japan, all with wonderful instructors. I believe that everyone who goes to Kyoto for the first time should do it, and with Caren, you receive close and professional treatment. Very interesting!🥰

Great experience. We were made to feel very welcome. Assisted in dressing in full Kimono with great attention to detail. I was expected to have photos taken on my phone by the host. Wonderful and interesting explanation of the process, which is so unique.

Yesterday we had the chance to attend the Unity Ceremony in Kyoto... and honestly, it was just magical ✨ From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a truly remarkable kindness and warmth of human beings. Those present were incredibly caring, smiling, and deeply caring. We felt a real sincerity, a rare authenticity that immediately puts at ease. The ceremony itself was magnificent, imbued with Japanese traditions rich in meaning and beauty. It was a real privilege to be able to rediscover them as a family, in such a peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. Each moment seemed suspended in time, like a parenthesis out of the ordinary. We had an exceptional time, filled with positive emotions and precious memories. An experience we definitely recommend — thank you to everyone who made this possible 🙏
