Fun and well-organized tour! As a traveler who flew here, I appreciated the option to rent a wetsuit! They also have nice private changing rooms. The tour guides were fun and kept us entertained with interesting historical stories and information about the sea life. Waves were a little too high to enter the sea caves and the water was too murky to see sharks, but I still enjoyed the hunt! If you are wondering if you should rent a wetsuit, know that you have to “kayak surf” into shore, and there is a high chance of flipping then! Most go barefoot in the kayaks, so no need to buy water shoes. Some may have been disappointed to not go into the caves, but I just enjoyed being out on the water, learning a new way to enjoy it, and having knowledgeable and conscientious guides. My only edit to improve the experience would be to add a foot -washing station at the office. Had to put socks on sandy feet — ick!

This was a good experience! Our guides were fantastic- the perfect combination of punny, educational, as well as helpful in keeping us safe on the water. We learned so much about the history and sea life in the area that I didn't expect to. We saw birds, sea lions, as well as fish. The reason I gave it 4 stars vs 5 is that it was not communicated to us until we were heading out to the beach (so not even at check in or during gear fitting) that we wouldn't be kayaking into the sea caves. While safety is definitely a priority and I understand this tour company can't control the waves of the ocean some communication in advance (which they can control) would have made this a five star experience!

Our tour guides John + Wyatt were super fun, friendly, and informative. We had a great time exploring the La Jolla Cove and would do it all over again! We appreciated the tips about viewing the sea lions at night and dinner @ Dukes. It made for a memorable last day in San Diego with my son. Thanks fellas! Jessie + Milo from Ohio ✌🏽

My sons idea to go. What a great time spent! Brody and Brian were fantastic. The waves were too high to spend time in the caves, but expected that. Very happy we booked the tour!
