First sea kayaking trip for me Only done brief lake canoeing before Staff very encouraging Capsizing is most likely when you are just leaving and arriving at shore line I capsized in first 30 seconds!! Warm salty water. One of the team noticed I was a bit slower and hung back for me. Both very knowledgeable. Great experience, lots of pelicans and seals. Too choppy to go into caves, lifeguard prohibited.

Well worth it. Great experience. Our guide Chance made it a fun time. Great exercise too. Saw hundreds of pelicans and several sea lions.

A must do when in San Diego. My boyfriend and I had such an amazing time, we had a great instructor and tour guide who led us through the kayak tour with ease. We saw plenty of sea life, explored the caves and of course enjoyed the seals!!

It was so much fun, go by August if you want to be able to get in the cave but it was great anyway even though the waves broke to high for us to go in

Our guides - Magnis, Delaney and Brooke- were enthusiastic and shared some fantastic local lore as well as excellent information about the underwater ecosystems off La Jolla beach. Going into the caves was pretty thrilling- matched by seeing leopard sharks and sea lions. Truly a great time with guides that looked out for everyone.

Everyone was really nice. I ended up getting too sick from the waves and had to come back early. Would recommend the company though.

Great experience! Tya and Ryan were personable, professional, and gave good instruction on technique so that this novice had no problem navigating the ocean kayak. Views were fabulous, though we didn't get to go into the caves due to really rough waves.

Nice time kayaking with Casey. We saw some leopard sharks and sea lions and kayaked through 1 cave. Fun day on the water. Casey goes over safety tips and basics and is super personable and kind.

This was my first time. I had a blast. Duration was just right, but I didn't bring a watch or clock, so it seemed like 60 to 90 minutes. They tell you about safety considerations while you're in the water. So I didn't fully understand about the dangers of catching a wave. My kayak did catch a wave when I was beaching the kayak, and it flipped over, bonked me on the head and sprained my thumb. They should be more attentive to the safety lectures, and do it before we launch. Thank goodness they require helmets, or I'd be a vegetable today.
