The overall experience is good. Guide Jackie is the best... always helpful and efficient. Driver Jerry is perfect in his job. Very safe driving. Last three hotels after Las Vegas were not upto the standards.

I joined this tour in Las Vegas in order to see the Grand Canyon, Antelope Gorge, Bryce Canyon, and Zion National Park. The sights did not disappoint, and neither did the tour guide, Martine, and the bus driver, Chris. Chris steered us safely rough the often windy, steep terrain and gave Aus a comfortable, safe space to rest between sights. Martine was an amazing guide. On board there were 14 people who originated from 8 different countries! Martine was able to fluently converse with those who preferred their mother tongue. We were all kept well informed as she switched between 3 languages fluently. The age group on board was also broad, early 20’s to late 60’s. She was able to cater for the needs of all. Those who wanted to climb mountains were able to do so, those who wanted an easier pace were also accommodated. We also knew in advance, where we were staying, stopping for lunch and what nearby restaurants may suit us for dinner. Nothing was too much trouble and it seemed to me that the tour ran seamlessly as a result. This tour is very good value for money, and as a frequent traveler, I would recommend it highly to those keen to see the spectacular sights in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.

By far the most wonderful trip I’ve done! So much so that I had to put this review on paper, for the start of the booking to the actual trip itself it was all exactly as advertised! If you’re wondering if the price is worth it… allow me to put those thoughts to rest because it absolutely is!

My partner and I recently completed the 7 Days tour of the California Coast, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Antelope Canyon, Bryce Canyon and Zion Park. The tour overall was fantastic. The bus was neat and comfortable, the locations were all stunning and the guides all were very knowledgeable and friendly. Special shout out to Brenda and Lorenzo who were both excellent guides who clearly love what they do and love shearing all these amazing places with people. Considering the price of this tour, the hotels for the most part were great. My biggest issue with them was that the hallways and rooms in some of the hotels stank of smoke or had other foul smelly orders to them. My main vote for 4 stars for this tour was not the tour itself but actually lack of communication from the tour company prior to the tour taking place. Aside from getting a booking confirmation I received no further emails from the tour company. Having done similar tours with other companies before this was a bit of red flag as you would normally receive some sort of communication emails leading up to the trip. Due to this, I was not even sure that this tour was real and if the bus would even turn up to the meet point. I was very glad that it did, however I can suggest to make future customers more at ease providing some more correspondence before the trip would be beneficial. Despite this, I would recommend Empire Vactions and I would tour with them again should I find myself back in the USA.

Lack if organisation to start the trip, people moved out of their seats several times to accommodate translators. Surely this could have been mapped out prior to boarding the coaches. We finally set off only to pull over in a car park (one of many) about an hour out of LA. 2 changes of coaches and a 2 hour wait for a new coach as the door was broken. Several arguments between drivers and tour guides, then an argument on the coach with a fellow traveller and staff member when she refused to change seats again. Then the coach broke down on the freeway, where we were stranded on the side of the road for a further 2 hours in fairly extreme heat. Compensation…pizza and a drink on the bus after a further wait in another car park. The first day on the road was a gruelling 17 hours, arriving at our motel at 1130 at night. All the scenery we saw was absolutely fabulous, although too much time was taken on the guide taking photos for the group and other random people. Change of guides and driver from Vegas to Zion. Thank you to the wonderful Mark Skinner our guide. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, going out of his way to add an extra experience when Bryce Canyon was closed due to inclement weather. Antelope Canyon was a highlight for me, absolutely stunning! Mark left us on our return to Las Vegas and the final trip back to LA. Sadly we were left in care of a rather nasty tour guide who was refusing to drop off the passengers who were disembarking from the farmers market at LA. More arguments between her and other staff, who were trying to reason with her and explain the trip was about the passengers not her! She reluctantly took us to our final destination when the one remaining translator got off at the first stop at LA., which caused another argument when he refused to get back on the coach, he was jumping up and down on the sidewalk saying it wasn’t his job to escort the remaining passengers to the end destination. All in all the destinations we visited were fantastic, most of the hotels were comfortable, although many were reminiscent of the corridors in the movie The Shining. Thank you to the Navajo Nation for accomodating us. This company needs to have a good look at who they employ because some are giving you a bad name
