With us you will reach unique jungle spots with no crowds, I will take you alone no group needed or with your friend or family, the photos and profesional edited video is a gift included in your tour. What To Expect
We will have fun in a very safe paddle board experience, you will get a basic technical lesson about the SUP activity and safety, I will join you to guide in secure areas protected from the winds and share with you the magic places around the lake of your choice discovering water jungle spots with possibilities to observe wild life like otters, turtles, fish, many birds and much more, I will be taking pictures and video and share some refreshment fruits and will be there for you making sure you have the best experience and feel safe. ATV is our new service to complement the SUP, we have beautiful tour in the mountain behind the lake with amazing views of the lake and volcanos.

5.00Jose did an amazing job touring my family/friends party of 6 which made for a memorable 1.5 hr SUP tour on Lake Arenal. I highly recommend him as a tour guide… he was well prepared with light refreshments for all and the equipment provisions were in great working order. A nice surprise at the end was preparation of a few photos and slide show that he later shared. Thanks again Jose for making a memorable tour on Lake Arenal, Pura Vida!

5.00Jose was absolutely wonderful and incredibly accommodating. He took us out on Lake Arenal for a beautiful paddle surrounded by stunning jungle and mountain views. We were lucky enough to catch a partial glimpse of the volcano through the clouds, which made the experience even more special. We also saw two toucans, enjoyed time on a slide, and got to try fresh coconuts, coffee, and snacks. Jose was fantastic company and made the entire experience relaxing and memorable. I would absolutely paddle with him again the next time I visit Costa Rica. Highly recommend!

5.00Jose was our favorite guide in all of Costa Rica. He was funny and gentle with instruction, and generous with snacks! It was my husband’s birthday (which we didn’t tell Jose in advance) and he got out a candle, some homemade pastry, and sang. :) He knew every bird we saw. Such a unique experience. We even got to see a bit of the volcano during an otherwise rainy trip. And a rainbow too.

5.00Our guide Jose was very patient and made sure we were comfortable and clear as to how to use the paddle board. My wife did not have a lot of confidence at the beginning but in no time she was standing up on the board and paddling with confidence. The trip was broken up with two breaks where Jose provided local refreshments. I’ll keep the exact nature of the refreshments a secret so that you are pleasantly surprised as we were.

5.00If you do one thing around Lake Arenal in Nuevo Arenal it should be a guided tour on paddle board with Jose! Beyond beautiful you get to spend a day on this earth with a truly amazing human with exceptional energy and kindness. The lake is pristine and feels like something outta Jurassic Park.

5.00Paddle boarding with Cote sup was an incredible experience. It was my first time so it’s extremely beginner friendly. He also is very knowledgeable about the wild life. Birds, trees, and history of the area. I highly recommend! It was my partners birthday so Jose brought mini cakes and a candle to sing happy birthday. He also took lots of photos and sent them the next day! So kind and thoughtful.

5.00I did paddleboarding as part of my solo trip. Doing it before sunset to see the sunset was perfect as January is warm and the sunset was beautiful. Jose teaches and guides you if you are a first timer. Pics and a video is also part of what you pay for !

5.00Wow - all we can say, is thank you Jose! This was the best New Year’s Eve we’ve ever had. Jose is a fantastic teacher; his trust in us meant I pushed myself to be confident and stand up early, when normally I’d be nervous! He explained everything patiently but let us have a go and learn the feeling. We had wind, waves, blazing sunshine and an absolutely torrential downpour. We sheltered in little coves with chocolates and a fresh coconut to drink from, and the three of us jumped off a platform into the lake. And of course, we listened to the sounds of the wildlife. If you are in the area, you should 100% do this. And if you’re not in the area but can get here, you should 100% travel for it. We will absolutely treasure this experience and it is the best thing we did in the area. A perfect way to start our honeymoon. Thank you!

5.00This experience is the definition of Pura Vida! Truly magical to paddle board in this area. Jose is a professional. We faced challenging conditions with stronger winds and currents but still had lots of fun in the end.
