Lupe was a really knowledgeable guide. We appreciated the range and pace of activities. She also chose a great place for lunch :)

We had an amazing tour with our guide, Lupe, around Lake Atitlán. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the diverse cultures and pueblos surrounding the lake. She also explained the lake’s ecosystem and the volcanoes that shape the landscape. Throughout the trip, she ensured we were comfortable, adapting to our needs with great flexibility.

Victor showed me around the lake villages and told me about the history and culture in a way I wouldn’t have picked up on my own. He was knowledgeable and chill, checked in on my energy level, and generally a very interesting person to chat with all day. Highly recommend!

Amazing tour with Victor! Learned about coffee, chocolate, and honey production while touring San Juan, viewed beautiful murals and paintings which Victor used to explain traditional Mayan culture and beliefs. Also visited San Marcos, and San Pedro, seeing the churches and integration of indigenous beliefs with Spanish Catholicism. Had a delicious lunch at a traditional restaurant. Highly recommend! Bring a backpack if you are planning to pick up souvenirs because there are many opportunities! :)

Amazing tour around the lake to three villages. Saw weaving, chocolate, honey, and Santiago traditional dress demonstrations. The guide was awesome, and the private boat across from Panajachel to each of the other locations made it easy. Also the tour organizers are the best - I needed help arranging transportation for another tour the next day and they were able to book it. (I would have missed if it wasn’t for them!) This is a can’t miss tour IMO - you learn a lot about the culture, history, and the lunch spot is traditional and delicious.
