We have brought fun and excitement and mixed it in with the beauty and cultural experiences the lake has to offer. We depart from our office in Panajachel and head over to the colorful village of Santa Catarina Palopo. In this village we are able to see and learn about local weavings, blankets, nahuales and other goods made and sold by the locals. At the plaza of this village, we visit a local coffee house where you can grind your own coffee and taste the locally grown beans. Once finished in Santa Catarina we hop back on our ATVs to the village of San Antonio Palopo. We visit local ceramic factory where we learn about the process to make all these incredible goods. We also visit a local chocolate factory in San Antonio where we learn about the process...

It was just the tour guide and I but it was really fun and absolutely breathtaking to see the scenic routes we drove on. Got to stop by a couple of local businesses along the way. Truly and experience! Yeshua even offered to take pictures of me too!

This trip was incredible. Pedro (our guide) clearly has a passion for his country, keeping it clean/preserved and honoring the small business’s/villages. We had 4 stops, he was flexible, in no rush and it felt like we got to see everything. Mayan villages, gorgeous views, amazing coffee (that you wouldn’t find on your own), natural hot springs, chocolate & rum tasting, textile and where/how ceramic is made. All on a scenic ATV route that felt safe the entire time with him leading it. There was no pressure at anytime to buy, he just wanted to share the untouched Mayan spots. Absolutely the best money spend on a tour!
