We have brought fun and excitement and mixed it in with the beauty and cultural experiences the lake has to offer. We depart from our office in Panajachel and head over to the colorful village of Santa Catarina Palopo. In this village we are able to see and learn about local weavings, blankets, nahuales and other goods made and sold by the locals. At the plaza of this village, we visit a local coffee house where you can grind your own coffee and taste the locally grown beans. Once finished in Santa Catarina we hop back on our ATVs to the village of San Antonio Palopo. We visit local ceramic factory where we learn about the process to make all these incredible goods. What To Expect

San Antonio Palopo

We visit a local Ceramic factory to learn about the process and see how it is made. we also visit the local Chocolate factory, the dock and shops by the water

Santa Catarina Palopo

During this stop we are able to learn and see local weavings, clothing, blankets, and many of the local goods made at this village. We also visit the local cultural center where we can taste some local coffee and chocolate, and lastly head over to the dock where we can do some shopping or grab a snack and drinks at the waterfront restaurant.

Just amazing tour across the town on the ATV different terrains different culture experiences. I would highly suggest this tour!

This is such an amazing experience. Family of 5 with teens and none of us had ever driven an ATV. Seeing some towns we may not have otherwise explored was rewarding. Can’t recommend enough.

We did this tour for my birthday and loved it. Nehemias was our tour guide and he was amazing. Very educational, sweet, and made us feel welcomed. I’ve ATV in many countries and this one was the best, the stops were educational and weren’t pushy on purchasing anything and we rode for a long time! I would 100% do this tour again or any tour nehemias is hosting!

We had a wonderful afternoon with Yeshua on our ATV tour. He was super kind, spoke perfect English, and shared a lot of interesting background on the history and mythology of the area. I loved Santa Catarina and San Antonio - they ended up being two of my favorite on the lake (along with San Juan), so I am glad we were able to visit despite them being inaccessible by public ferry. The ceramic factory was a hidden gem that we would have never found without Yeshua, and the chocolate tasting was delicious. We’d never ridden ATVs before and while they were easy to pick up, the ride through the hills was still exhilarating. Overall a great experience and I’d highly recommend!
