We have brought fun and excitement and mixed it in with the beauty and cultural experiences the lake has to offer. We depart from our office in Panajachel and head over to the colorful village of Santa Catarina Palopo. In this village we are able to see and learn about local weavings, blankets, nahuales and other goods made and sold by the locals. At the plaza of this village, we visit a local coffee house where you can grind your own coffee and taste the locally grown beans. Once finished in Santa Catarina we hop back on our ATVs to the village of San Antonio Palopo. We visit local ceramic factory where we learn about the process to make all these incredible goods. What To Expect
San Antonio Palopo
We visit a local Ceramic factory to learn about the process and see how it is made. we also visit the local Chocolate factory, the dock and shops by the water
Santa Catarina Palopo
During this stop we are able to learn and see local weavings, clothing, blankets, and many of the local goods made at this village. We also visit the local cultural center where we can taste some local coffee and chocolate, and lastly head over to the dock where we can do some shopping or grab a snack and drinks at the waterfront restaurant.

Incredible Tour - Even Better Tour Guide in Nemy

5.00This was an absolutely incredible tour that we would recommend to anyone. Riding the ATVs is so much fun, and the stops along the way were exactly what we were looking for. Our tour had five people on it including us, which we felt was perfect. Our tour guide is what really perfected the tour for us though. His name is Nemy and he is an incredibly nice and knowledgeable guy with a huge heart. He took good care of us, took the time to get to know us a bit, never rushed us, and gave us such interesting information at each stop. We stopped at a local coffee spot with local coffee beans, a traditional textiles location where we got to spin some cotton and learn about all the dies and textile making process from some locals with Mayan heritage, and a traditional ceramics shop where we got to see the various steps of the ceramic making process. We found some of our favorite souvenirs on this tour as well at these stops. We feel incredibly lucky to have found this tour and to have had Nemy as our tour guide in particular, and we would recommend the tour company and Nemy to anyone. Thanks again Nemy!

I have some mobility issues and he was able to help me get tuk tuk for one of the destinations requiring some steps. The views of the lake were stunning and he even took pictures of us throughout the excursion. Would definitely recommend.

5.00This was a really fun tour, as it allowed us to see other villages. We got to stop and see how they go from cotton to weaving clothes, a ceramic-making shop, and a chocolate-making shop.

5.00This tour was great! Of course riding the arc was so much fun but what really made it an amazing experience was our guide and the stops we made. We got to visit places we otherwise probably would not have found and learned so much along the way. Our guide Yeshua was so kind and helpful. 10/10 experience, if you are in Panajachel this tour is a must!

5.00Two important things you should know right off the bat: 1. This was the best experience we had in Guatemala. 2. We are not ATV people. We are quiet nature people, hiking, snowshoeing, etc But, we read so may positive reviews, we decided to swallow our ATV judgement and do it. It was so, so fun, thrilling, interesting and SO worth the price. Our guide was Pedro and he was safe, knowledgeable and funny. We ranged in age from 18-66 and only one of us had had ATV experience. Yet everyone felt safe and in control. Don’t hesitate. Book this and, if you are really lucky, Pedro will accompany you.
