You will leave Milan and stop in Varenna for a short visit to this picturesque village. Then you will head to Tirano along the Valtellina, famous for its vineyards, now a UNESCO heritage site, apple cultivations and gastronomic specialties. Possibility of stopping along the way for a visit to the NERA wineries with tasting of local wines. Then you will continue to Tirano where you will take the famous Bernina Express (Bernina Red Train), a breathtaking journey in the Alps. Arrival in Sankt Moritz and visit of the famous luxury town.
Bring your valid PASSPORT for border control (Switzerland is not part of the EU). We suggest comfortable clothes and shoes according to the season and weather forecast.

4.00Your was very nice and the tour guide was both very friendly and informative. Only issue is that I feel this tour was too costly for what it was. Also, the tour needs to be described differently for winter than summer since you can't see much of lake como during the day.

5.00We booked through Get Your Guide. The coach took us to St Morritz, 2.5 hours with a rest stop on the way. The guide, Vivianne was absolutely brilliant, the best guide we have ever had ( and we have had a few!) She had tremendous knowledge of all areas we passed through as well as the destination. We had an hour in St Morritz to get some lunch then met back at the train station. Everyone kept together as we got very clear instructions from Vivianne. We had our own carriage on the train, and V walked up and down to let us know exactly when we would see the best views for photos! The coach was waiting for us at the bottom, no walking, he took us to Lake Como, where we just crossed the road straight onto a private boat to take us on a cruise. The timings advertised cannot be accurate due to traffic, so we had just half an hour here Again very informative commentary from V. Coach arrived back at starting point in Milan 12.5 hours later. All transport was super. Reading other reviews on here, I suspect they must be talking about a different company, this was all perfect we had the best day of our trip so far.
