I recently joined a guided walk in the Lake District with Jamie, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From start to finish, the day was well-organized, informative, and truly memorable. Jamie struck the perfect balance between sharing local knowledge—about the landscape, history, and wildlife—and giving us time to soak up the breathtaking views in peace. The route was thoughtfully chosen, offering a mix of gentle climbs, panoramic viewpoints, and hidden gems I never would have found on my own. The pace was comfortable for everyone in the group - including my 75 year old parents and two teenagers - with plenty of breaks to rest, take photos, and simply enjoy the surroundings. What stood out most was Jamie’s passion for the area—it was infectious and made the walk feel personal and special. By the end, I not only felt refreshed and inspired but also more connected to the beauty and heritage of the Lake District. I’d highly recommend this guided walk to anyone, whether you’re new to the area or have visited before. It’s a fantastic way to discover the Lakes in the company of a knowledgeable and friendly guide.

A wonderful hike with Jamie who was both informative, funny and most importantly was very considerate of the various levels of hiking experiences within our group as well as keeping us aware of the safety precautions while hiking and afterwards. I highly recommend this hiking tour with Jamie!

This is one of those experiences which live on in your memory and one which you treasure. Jamie was a fabulous guide - whilst making sure we were always aware of anything that might cause any harm ( eg no railings or steep rocky track ahead) he made sure we were hiking - not just wandering along. The route covered farmland, beside rivers, up rocky hillsides , into caves, seeing fields of bluebells plus learning a great deal along the way. We never felt rushed and we felt a great sense of both achievement and deep appreciation at the end of the day . We could not recommend more highly doing guided walks of any level with Jamie .

This walk is a must do for anyone visiting the Lakes District. Our guide Jamie is very knowledgeable about the area and makes the experience so worthwhile. The scenery is stunning and there are plenty of opportunities for photos. If we are ever in the Lakes District again, the first thing we will do is book a walking tour with Jamie. He also brought along his dog Blisco on the walk which added an extra highlight. Jamie provided details of the walk including a set of FAQs well in advance which was very helpful. Thanks Jamie. We had a great time. Anthony & Jenny
