Our experience was absolutely amazing. Delano was a great tour guide. He kept us informed as we traveled throughout the day and even adjusted the route a bit to avoid the rain. The sights were beautiful and we would highly recommend!

We did 4 x day tours from Jasper to Banff and surrounds with Del. We would rate him as one the best guides, if not the best guide that we have had in all our travels. His passion for and knowledge of the history of the Canadian Rockies was outstanding and he was able to communicate this to us in a way that made us want to know more. He was able to answer our questions and anything he didn't know he researched and found the answers. To our delight we were able to stop and observe bears, elk, bald eagles and duelling mountain sheep. Moose however eluded us! Del's organisation and forethought made our experience all the more enjoyable.

I have been on numerous tours over my years of travel. But Duncan’s tour with Alberta Blue Sky tours ranks as one of the best! Professional, personable, and punctual, Duncan showed us the sights around Banff. He was knowledgeable in everything from flora to fauna to places to eat to Canadian history. We saw a myriad of animals, even viewing female Big Horned Sheep at the Banff overlook. A 10 out of 10! Thank you, Duncan!

The tours were wonderful. Our host for the tour was named Del and he was exceptional ; so knowledgeable, energetic and down right fun! The views were spectacular! The whole experience was very enjoyable. We got to know many of the same people on our tours. These tours were planned by Canada Rail Vacation and what awesome tours. I would highly recommend Rocky Mountaineer and the Alberta Blue Sky Tours!

We had the pleasure of doing two full-day tours with Alberta Blue Sky Tours. Our first day was an exploration of Banff, including a ride on the Banff Gondola on a perfect weather day. The views from the top of the mountain with snow still covering the peaks were amazing. Our tour guide for this day, Duncan, was extremely knowledgeable about all forms of vegetation and the wildlife in the area. We really enjoyed the small group size and the personal attention given to each person on the tour. Our second day tour took us from Lake Louise to the Columbia Ice Field and included a visit to the Athabasca Glacier. We ended up in Jasper after driving the Icefields Parkway and taking in many beautiful views. Our tour guide this day was Martin, who provided outstanding explanations of the local geography and wildlife.

A terrific experience with our guide Duncan Rodway. Duncan had an amazing breadth of knowledge about the geology, wildlife and plants of all the areas we saw. He had good insights about Canada’s history and its peoples, including the First Nations, as well. Duncan had an intuitive feel for what my wife and I needed and he took good care of us. Plus he was excellent company. Duncan was with us for two days - a tour from Banff to Lake Louise and surrounding areas, and then a tour from Lake Louis to Jasper, including parts of the Jasper National Park. High points included the incredible beauty of the wild areas north of Lake Louise, the Athabasca Glacier in the Columbia Icefields, and the Athabasca Falls. We were very happy with the entire experience. Highly recommended.

Jake was very knowledgeable and made the trip very interesting. It was great to go to some of these spots on the van as we had seen them from the train. The museum was particularly interesting. So glad we did this!
