  We thoroughly enjoyed our tour around Northern Iceland. Our guide (forgot his name) was fantastic and enthusiastic. He even took pictures and set up a Whats App group to pass on his knowledge. Would highly recommend this trip.

  We were upgraded to the longer tour and saw additional waterfalls. The first waterfall was fabulous and we needed more than 45 minutes there to make up up both sides of the waterfall. It is also the only stop where you could purchase food or gifts and only 45 minutes into the tour. There is no other place to do so on this 8 hour tour. We stopped for 45 minutes by the woods and were given a chicken salad sandwich and sugary orange juice. Take your own food. Why 45 minutes in the middle of no where? The next waterfall was great, and we found there was a second, prettier waterfall to the right. The tour guide was subpar. His commentary to boring in his monotone voice, often falling at the end and hard to hear. He always waited until we were at a stop before giving time and wasn't clear in his speech. I heard 80 minutes, my daughter heard 8 minutes and the man next to us heard 18 minutes.

  Although we traveled to numerous sites (Waterfalls, Mountain Peaks, Massive Lakes) the single spot that was must memorable was the Geothermal terrain. It was like being on another planet.
