What To Expect
Enjoy a pleasant boat ride on Lake Zurich and visit the Lindt Home of Chocolate museum on a combined visit. Visitors can enjoy a boat ride of approximately 1h duration as well as admission to the Lindt Home of Chocolate museum (no need to reserve a specific time in advance). The perfect plan for an autumn day, as the boat has an indoor and outdoor area, with sinks and cafeteria service. It also includes public transport to return to Zurich and continue using it for the rest of the 24 hours from the start of the activity. KEY INFORMATION: Upon booking, the participant will receive a confirmation receipt for the reservation, but that document does NOT constitute entry for either the museum or the ship. Entries will be processed as soon as possible and sent by message on the VIATOR platform. SCHEDULE OF SHIPS : MONDAY TO FRIDAY : 11 : 00 or 14 : 00 SATURDAY AND SUNDAY : 11 : 00, 14 : 00, 15 : 00 or 16 : 00. Access to Lindt Home of Chocolate can be anytime after the cruise.

4.00The specified journey is already a challenge for us Swiss, and one must know how to help oneself. That is probably why there is a flat rate and no half-fare option available. It would be desirable to include a ship schedule. The trip itself was simply wonderful in this great weather. The Lindt Museum is also nice, but unfortunately quite crowded.

1.00Unfortunately, I did not have a real good experience. I had problems when I got to Switzerland with my email and I could not get our tickets to go on the two tours we were booked on. I called and the lady I talked to said she would send the tickets to me in a different email which is what I had requested. Well, I had a barcode so I thought that’s what I needed. We went to the ticket office to get our tickets to get on the boat and they denied us. They said that wouldn’t get us on. We were supposed to have actual tickets. I said well that’s what she said we could use. So we left went to lunch and I sat there and I called again. He said oh in your text which they did not and he also sent in WhatsApp. Luckily I have WhatsApp although I know a lot of people don’t so I looked there and I was able to find the ticket so we walked back and finally got on the boat after standing in line for about 45 minutes. It was not a good experience.

5.00The tour discription was very clear about the voucher not being the Lindt ticket. You need to check the Viator booking details to download the tickets but all worked well. The pass for the boat ride is also the bus ticket. The boat ride was beautiful and accessing the Lindt factory without a fix time was perfect. This was a great time.

5.00Our experience booked through Viator was absolutely seamless. We started with the lake cruise, which was incredibly relaxing; the staff were professional, polite, and made the journey very pleasant. After stepping off the boat, the walk to the Lindt Home of Chocolate along the lakefront was mesmerizing—the views alone are worth the trip! The museum itself is world-class and impressively pram-friendly, which we really appreciated. The highlight, of course, was the chocolate tasting. It was such a fun, well-curated experience that allowed us to indulge in the best of Swiss confectionery. Overall, this was a memorable and well-organized day. If you are visiting Zurich, this tour is an absolute must!!!

1.00This is a public transportation (boat) and entrance ticket to the Lindt factory. The walk to the factory is done on your own and luckily there are some signs. The boat ticket is sent as PDF but not explained via site or email that it is used to gain entry in the ship. Stupid process!

4.00I bought this experience as all the tickets bought directly from the Lindt museum for the day I wanted were sold out from the Lindt museum website. The currency rate for Swiss francs to USD is quite poor and for this price at the last minute it worked for me. I also enjoyed the fact that the transportation ticket covered zones 110 and 150 in Zürich. The tickets for transport are roughly 3.6 Swiss francs one way and can be higher. All in all the tour operator contracted a very professional river cruise company and made everything very professional especially to assist Wnglish speakers. The admission to the Lindt museum was at your leisure. No timed admission like you may be restricted if bought through museum itself. Great value. Good instructions. Able to navigate well and well the lake there in Zürich.
