This was a great way to kickstart the day (I went on the 10:30 session). I enjoy getting some history and culture along with (a LOT!) of dishes. Steve was knowledgeable, friendly and answered all my questions. For me, this is often where the gold is, and what makes the memories stick. And the food! Such variety, and from places you’d never find by yourself. Come hungry and pace yourself!

Disha, our guide, was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and warm. She loved imparting her love of local KL food. The tour largely focused on food from the chinese community in KL but finished off with some dishes from the Indian community. We met at Central Market and the food restaurants and food stalls were all nearby. It started at 10.30am with substantial dishes so best not to have breakfast, nor plan any lunch! We were a very small group - only 2 of us - which meant the tour was even more personalised which made it even more enjoyable. If you count the drinks - a homemade lime drink and the teacoffee drink we sampled 4 more foods than the promised 14 dishes/food items. Overall a great introduction to KL cuisine and heritage.

Fantastic morning with Disha - she is passionate about sharing her knowledge of Malay food. We loved her insights about the China town area and the food vendors. Great variety of food to try and Disha was very focused on moving at a pace which suited us.

Fantastic tour based around Chinatown. Disha was an excellent, knowledgeable guide and the variety of dishes was broad and delicious. Even though I love Malaysian and Chinese food there were a bunch of things I had never had before. 100% recommend

Disha was fantastic!!!!!! We absolutely loved all the restaurants and street stalls she took us to and the food was delicious- there is nothing I would change or improve! Disha’s local knowledge of the area, food and customs was extensive and we learned so much. Thank you for the perfect day!

Come hungry as there is so much food to taste. Honestly, too much. No one can eat that much. Loved the mix of food and Chinatown sights. Well done. Got to try some Michelin rated street food as well as local stars. My only issue is that there was no decent bathroom. Either major line or unsanitary conditions. Maybe plan accordingly for this.
