Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00My sister and I highly recommend this 2 days trip from Cat Baventures! Our room was very clean and big. The boat went to less crowded places, which we really enjoyed. It gave us the feeling it was not touristic at all. Between kayaking and swimming you get enough free time to enjoy the beautiful archipelago. The lunch and diner prepared by the chef was delicious. All the staff were friendly and helpfull. In addition, our guide Ninh knew a lot about the area and Vietnamese culture. We really enjoyed this!

5.00It was Mega. The route is super selected and goes off the beaten track. The ship is great and so is the program and the guides are great. Our guide was Kong and he was really incredibly warm, personable and very very helpful. You could talk to him in English about all the topics you can just tell he loves his job.

5.00I loved the trip! The smallest boats in the area, but still comfortable enough. And with a smaller group there is interaction with everyone because you eat together. The food was good! Our guide Ben knew a lot about the area, the history of Vietnam etc, and liked to explain. Nice places for kayakking and swimming and a small boat tour with a local fisherman. Would recommend this tour!
Hugely enjoyed, away from the hustle and bustle of the Halong Bay. A real must-do!

5.00Truly the very best way to enjoy Halong Bay and surroundings. Away from the crowds, surrounded by nature. Beautiful clean boat with really beautiful wooden (but luxurious) cabins. Hot shower and enough space for suitcases etc. The boat is small enough to sail to quiet places where the large cruise ships cannot go. Perfect, then. The activities are fun and varied enough. The food is really fantastic. Our 4-year-old son tasted oysters and squid for the first time and was immediately sold. Guides are very helpful and speak fluent English. Nothing but praise!

5.00An awesome experience!! The organization, the staff, the service, everything was great. The meals were excellent. Without luxury or chichi, but with all the necessary comfort and privacy. We enjoyed the bay without feeling like we were bathed in mass tourism: the concept of Cat Ba is much more authentic (there were only 14 of us on board, and avoided spots overexploited by all ferries at the same time). This allowed to interact with other passengers (more intimate formula), and enjoy the beauty of the place by feeling (almost) alone in the world!

5.00Joined two friends on this tour to avoid a tour with a party hostel. It was very well organized like a well-oiled machine and Ninh was a very pleasant tour guide. He managed to level up with everyone and have a chat. Nice program, not too intensive, all in all good experience with beautiful views!

What made this tour exceptional was the strategic planning that ensured we reached every spot before anyone else.
