Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00We had a great time on the boat with our guide Ninh, I definitely recommend taking a tour with Cat Ba Ventures ☺️ Ninh knows all the hidden and untouristy lagoons that can be reached by kayaking and is super kind. We learned a lot about vietnamese culture and language thanks to him.

5.00Fantastic experience. Ben was an amazing tour guide. You can tell hes very passionate about the area and the people. The boats were great, had the best night sleep since being in Vietnam. Food was tasty too.

The food on board is very varied and good, the rooms with the best views and the adventurous program really fun. Highly recommended!

5.00We had a great time in Lan Ha and Ha Long bays with Hang as our tour guide. We kayaked in beautiful lagoons and caves and swam at secluded beaches. Hang provided lots of great regional information and entertainment. I was wary of booking the trip because I expected crowds of tourists, but this was one of my favorite parts of our trip to Vietnam!

5.00I highly recommend choosing Cat Ba Ventures for everyone that wants to do the Ha Long Bay cruise tour but want to avoid the big crowds. The tour itself was very well paced with activities such as kayaking and we also got plenty of free time for swimming and relaxing. Not only was the tour itself amazing, but our tour guide Ninh made everything 100 times better. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and took his time to engage with everyone in our small tour group. He knew a lot about Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay and it was very nice how he explained our itinerary and schedule along the way. Our entire group loved him and I highly recommend the company and tour guide Ninh!

The entire trip was well-organized, relaxing, and full of amazing activities, but the kayaking was definitely the highlight. It was incredibly fun, and the feeling of paddling through such calm and stunning surroundings was just unreal. The scenery throughout the tour was absolutely breathtaking. From the crystal-clear water to the towering limestone cliffs and peaceful bays, every moment looked like a postcard. A special mention goes to our tour guide, Ben. He was truly fantastic friendly, talkative, and always happy to share interesting information about the area, nature, and local culture. He made everyone feel welcome and created a great atmosphere on board. If you’re considering doing this tour, do it. It’s worth every minute. Highly recommended!
