Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00The landscapes are stunning. We had a lovely experience! the crew was very helpful. Our guide, Tony, was a really good guide telling a lot of stories and explanation. We loved his eye for nature, so we’ve been able to see the cat ba monkeys. We loved this trip for the small group and enjoying nature. We would recommend!

5.00The receptionists at Cat Ba Ventures office, all the ship's guide and, last but not least, our guide Jack (Luân) were all amazing. The receptionists assisted us straightaway with our booking on a short notice and got us bus tickets to and from Cat Ba at very competitive prices. The ship's crew were very professional and friendly. The sea voyage was smooth and the food they prepared on board was delicious. Finally, Jack was both knowledgeable and funny. He was committed to providing us a great trip and gave us time to enjoy the scenery and activities. We never felt especially rushed. The animals spotted from the ship of from the kayaks included schools of jumping fish, a squid, a crab, jellyfish, eagles and other birds. We had no luck with the endangered and very rare langurs, unfortunately. The only real downside, which was beyond the company's control, is that, on the second day, wind had driven floating garbage onto the islands' shores, a reminder that we should collectively produce and consume less plastic.

Tony was a friendly guide and it was the perfect balance of activities, swim and views, overall a really chill and peaceful tour which is exactly what I was looking for in Cat Ba. We anchored in all places that were almost empty and were the only ones there! Rooms were really nice and the food was delicious.

5.00Toured with Hang! Had a small group of 4, and it was a very peaceful visit. Hang is very informative, friendly, and very helpful with activities. Many of the spots we went to had barely any other tourists around!

5.00This tour is awesome. When exploring Lan Ha Bay, we saw very few other boats or people- and the swimming was nice - which made the touristy side of Ha Long Bay much more tolerable. Jack was a fabulous tour guide, blending a great mixture of adventure, safety, and humor.
