Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00Such a brilliant experience! Was a perfect mix of busy activities broken up with time to rest and enjoy the spectacular scenery. We were amazed at how few boats we saw and how many caves and hidden beaches we enjoyed all to ourselves! Jack was a brilliant guide, so helpful and full of knowledge but also wonderful at keeping the vibes going and cracking some great jokes. Thanks Jack!

5.00I booked this 2 day 1 night cruise and it was really amazing! The views were incredible and the activities really well planned. Waking up on the bay was great and I particularly enjoyed the squid fishing at night. The highlight of this activity was the guide Tony. He was very entertaining, explaining to us how the rocks were formed as well as the culture and history of the bay. He also told us a lot about Vietnamese customs and his personal background which I found very interesting to hear.
Brilliantly organised to make a really personal experience.

5.00Our cruise with Cat Ba Ventures was just fantastic. The guides were so friendly and helpful, Cong in particular made our time there so easy and fun with his super charming smile. The activities are so well planned so that you end up being in places with hardly any other tourists. The late night squid fishing was particularly fun! Whilst the boat may not be as glamorous as some of the bigger boats, it was absolutely fine and so cosy. The relaxed nature of the small group and great team make this an unforgettable trip.

5.00This cruise was amazing and a highlight of your trip. The activities were so fun but I think what made it so special was our guide Tony who looked after us made us feel welcome sharing stories and information about the islands and bay. The staff on the boat were also so kind and the food was amazing. The cruise avoids the overcrowded touristy areas which I loved too. Thank you again Tony and the crew for your hospitality and making our experience so memorable.
