Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.

Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.

Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.

-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.

Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

Tien Ong Cave

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

Highly recommend this experience. We had the most wonderful 2 days. Everything was easy to organize from pickup in Hanoi to getting dropped back off they took care of everything. Our time on the boat itself was incredible. A great guide, chef, and captain. We did so many activities from incredible cave kayaking to swimming to seeing and feeding monkeys to night fishing and seeing where fish are raised. Ninh was the best tour guide. He shared so many interesting things about the region and life in Vietnam. He also led the experiences impeccably and was so flexible for us to make the experience exactly what we wanted. The food was also delicious and had so much variety.

Such a good tour with small enough group of all different ages. We seen so many areas and most of the time our group were the only ones there it was so nice and peaceful. The rooms were lovely and clean and the food provided was very tasty! Our tour guide Tony was so enthusiastic and gave us lots of information throughout the trip. We had the best time!

We had a lovely 2 days 1 night trip with our tourguide Ben. He gave a lot of information about the bay and the history and his English is very good! The stops were nice, we also saw monkeys! The rooms and the food are good! Would recommand!

The boat we were on was very old and tired and the catering is limited given the cost of the excursion - this is not to take away from the friendly staff who did their best to keep our group active on the water.- In hindsight we would not have booked an overnight cruise but just a day cruise.

We had the chance to do the excursion with Cat Ba Ventures, the whole team was very caring and smiling, the chef took us on a trip through his kitchen, it was a treat. Special mention for our guide Ninh who was as kind as passionate in his explanations. The setting was extraordinary, a heavenly boat ride.. We had a great time, we thank the whole team!!

We had a great time on the boat with our guide Ninh, I definitely recommend taking a tour with Cat Ba Ventures ☺️ Ninh knows all the hidden and untouristy lagoons that can be reached by kayaking and is super kind. We learned a lot about vietnamese culture and language thanks to him.

Great tour operator! We did the 2D1N tour with Tony and are totally thrilled. Tony made a total effort and told us a lot of very exciting things. Everything went smoothly and we were well pampered. Both days we did a great kayak tour. The room was great with private bathroom + hot water/air conditioning. We were only 12 people on a boat, creating a nice family atmosphere. Also in the course of our trip our organizer tried to bypass crowds of boats.
