Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00Hang is a very funny guide, he does magic trics in the evening, very amusing! The crew on the boat is nice. Very beautiful environment, kayakking is fun, we saw moskees, the foodprocessor was good! A must do!

4.00The cruise was very good. The food was good, water provided, any other drinks are extra. The room was very nice, very big and comfy. The evening after dinner was full of funny stories from our guide Tony which entertained us brilliantly. We learned a lot about Vietnam from him. After that the evening was very quiet. The day was mainly kayaking, swimming and enjoying the view

5.00We booked via what's app and on the morning of our trip I felt tummy sick so we had to reschedule it by one day. That was possible and I got a reply very fast - so the total organization of the trip was very smooth. On our trip we had Ben as our tour guide. He did an awesome job. The bus tour to our starting point was very well structured and also the "boarding" onto the boat. Afterwards Ben had very interesting facts about the lan ha bay. But always in a way that it never was too much. We had plenty of time to enjoy the view and the weather in our own pace. The food was great and the prices for drinks on board were good. So all in all a very very good daytrip. I would definitely recommend doing this with cat ba ventures. Again - Ben was really awesome and very friendly and helpful!

5.00We went to Cat Ba looking for a more local and less crowded experience than the cruises departing from Halong Bay. Our guide Tony was wonderful; not only did we sail and kayak in incredible areas with no tourists, featuring spectacular landscapes and clean waters, but Tony also explained many things about the region and life in Vietnam, and made us laugh with anecdotes and stories. He clearly loves his job, and he made the experience perfect. The food was good, and the rooms were very comfortable. If you want a cruise in the area, I totally recommend this agency, as you get to see both bays — Halong Bay and Lan Ha — away from the overcrowded tourist spots and without any rush, allowing you to really enjoy the activities. This tour exceeded our expectations completely.

5.00I went with a friend on the 2 day/1 night and we had a fantastic time. They were very well organized and made sure that even in all the transitions from buses to boats we never got mixed up. Our tour guide Tony was wonderful. He told some great stories and even did some card tricks to keep us entertained when we were going from one activity to another. He was very clear and helpful with directions and keeping us informed. The kayaking in the lagoon was so exciting. We even got very very lucky and our two parties saw one of the Golden Headed Langurs. It was nice to have a smaller group of passengers. We wanted to enjoy a quieter time, we are glad we chose this one. While out in the bay we heard the loud music and activities from the other boats, and although I am sure that is fun. It wasn’t the experience we were looking for. We got to relax and enjoy the view while exploring, and reading a book.

5.00We booked our tour with the guide Tony who told us many interesting things about the area and the culture of Vietnam! We had plenty of time for kayaking and swimming and the cabins on the boat are quite cozy with a great view to the bay. The food is also okay but some more vegetables would be great. Would totally book again!

The landscapes are beautiful, the organization of the day is well-honed, the lunch (included) is hearty and very good. Special mention for Hang our guide of the day, who animates this day perfectly! For those undecided who do not know with whom to discover Lan Ha and Halong Bay, I highly recommend Cat Ba Ventures and Hang!
