Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00They say they go to less touristy places, and that’s exactly what we got! The crew took great care of us throughout the trip. The meals cooked on board are very good and the portions are generous. Our guide (Cong) took the time to share information about the bay, as well as about Vietnamese history and culture, always with a smile. Kayaking was also a lot of fun and allowed us to go to places where motorboats are not permitted. You’re going on an adventure, so you shouldn’t expect luxury comfort (the bed was creaky), but the cabins are spacious. Beautiful memories and magical moments! Thank you, Catba Ventures.

5.00Even though the wheater was not great, we still had an amazing trip (2D/1N). We had a very nice group of people and our guide Ninh was really kind, and had a positive spirit. The food was amazing and the service was great (pick up from our hotel etc). We would really recommend the company and the trip.

5.00It was a really fantastic tour! Our guide Ninh was very attentive and particularly polite. He speaks fluent English and has responded to every one of our wishes. He led us to very quiet coves and we were always in the most beautiful places before the other tourists. There was time for swimming, kayaking and also relaxing. The crew on the ship doesn't speak English, but it was still a very nice togetherness. Ninh was always approachable and there for us. The whole organization of the trip was absolutely perfect and the whole team beach ready for any questions. Also in the office on Cat Ba the team was very attentive and helpful. I always call to travel again with CatBaVentures. I wish Ninh in particular all the best for the future.

5.00The tour was really great! The boat was beautiful and the food was great every time. But most of it was really our fun guide Ninh. He really made our tour with his fun jokes and just knew how to tell a lot. We are very happy and grateful that we did this!
