Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00Did this cruise with Jack and it was great! Had a great group, we were all around the same age. The tailored the activities to our age group and that we were more active. Lots of kayaking and swimming. The caves were super cool. Got to jump off the boat and swim. The coffees were super good. I also slept really well on the boat, it was super relaxing. And of course Jack was a great guide and made sure we had what we needed, didn’t lose items, and had a good time. Loved the trivia he sprinkled in lol. We went on the off season so there weren’t many people - a group of 10. It was perfect. There also weren’t so many other tourists out so less crowds. I also felt the one night trip was great but tbh I could’ve done 2!

5.00We did an amazing two days/1night tour with Tony. We started in Cat Ba and cruised through Lan Ha and Ha Long Bay. Included was kayaking one the first and on the second day through the bay, exploring different caves and also lonely beaches. Before you start your trip, you can choose between different food options (vegeterian, seafood, no seafood, only chicken ...). Tony was the perfect guide. He explained everything in detail and if you ever had any questions or anything to share, he is always there for you. The crew members are also available and made the best local food. Everything was freshed cooking and so delicious because of the many options you will have. It felt like a family trip and the room had the most beautiful I have ever seen!!! Thank you for this experience - we will never forget! Also i want to thank cat ba ventures for always helping with the planing of the bus between CatBa and Hanoi. Anna and Johannes

5.00An amazing tour all around! Our tour guide, Tony, was super knowledgeable, friendly, and just an absolute joy to be around. I cannot recommend him enough as a guide. The outdoor activities (kayaking, bamboo boats, and swimming) were super fun. The meals were some of the freshest and most delicious Vietnamese food I’ve ever had. The rooms were clean and spacious. Staff were very kind. Highly recommend!

4.00Sublime place, very few other boats which was appreciable. The great guide , it explains the history of Vietnam . The only downside are the activities that were nice but the places we went especially by canoe were full of floating waste .. nevertheless I recommend . The overall duration was fine too

5.00I search high and low for the right boat trip for us, before coming out to Cat Ba Island and this appeared to cover what we wanted. Less touristy parts, including Lan Ha Bay and popping into Ha Long bay for a short time to see it. 2 kayaking activities, a boat through a cave and landing on a deserted beach. It did not dissapoint and Ben, the guide, made it better with his knowledge of the area and his humour. The overnight boat is smaller than some of the monstrosities we saw and I'm pretty certainly we didnt pay as much as the people on them. Food was good, wifey well pleased with her veggie selection and the cabins were comfortable, if a little dated, but hey, ypu only sleep in there. All in all we loved this trip.
