Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00This was such a beautiful amazing trip. Our guide Ben was great! He let us know the plans and itinerary, was really friendly and funny. He made sure we had anything we needed. The boat was nice with big rooms. There weren’t too many other boats around. We got to enjoy the scenery and it was very peaceful. Kayaking was great, and we had the freedom to do as much or as little as possible. The other people on the boat were lovely as well and it was great to get to know them Thank you so much Ben and Cat Ba Ventures - if we are lucky enough to return we will come straight to you!,

5.00We had a great time on the Cat Ba Ventures Cruise. The food was great, we kayaked at places with barely any others there and had such a fun group. The cabins we stayed were very good as well. Big shout out to Ben, our guide, for sharing stories about Vietnam and explaining the tour and managing expectations clearly during all briefings.

5.00Cat Ba ventures provides a very unique experience by focusing on smaller groups, fun activities, very good food and a family-like atmosphere. It was just so nice to cruise around less crowded areas to experience calm lagunes where we were alone and none of the big ships ins sighs. Our guide Ben provided detailed information and knowledge on literally anything around the island and all the bays we were cruising through. On top, he was a a really funny guy speaking nearly perfect English. The rooms were high standard and the food was just delicious. The crew of the ship was super relaxed and took really great care of everyone. If you are searching for a more unique experience, this is your thing. Totally recommended ☺️

5.00We had a great time and can only recommend the trip (2D1N)! Everything is well organized, the kayak tours are a lot of fun and you always have time for yourself in between. The food was very delicious (also for Veggis top). We were only 10 people, which was very pleasant and were completely alone in some places - so you could enjoy everything in peace. In particular, our friendly guide Hang made the trip unforgettable.

5.00We had a great cruise with family. There were only 12 of us on the boat which was perfect. The room for 4 is large and clean with large windows on the outside. The meals were very hearty and really good. There are rest times and time for activities which is perfect. Our guide Ninh was very kind, he speaks good English and explained a lot to us. He took us kayaking to deserted places. Our children loved squid fishing. We recommend if you are looking for a quiet cruise away from tourists and big boats.

5.00The trip was incredible! Cat Ba Ventures only has small groups of tourists on modest boats, awesome choice if you want to avoid mass tourism. We had a 2 day 1 night trip. Our tour guide Hang speaks fluent English. He is very knowledgeable about the bays and has a good sense of humour. The food was good, the beds were good, the shower was better than can be expected on a small boat. We are thankful to Hang and the entire crew for the tour in this impressive feat of nature.
