Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00This was a great experience. The area is quite touristy and the company did a great job staggering our itinerary so that we alone in many places and not with zillions of other ships. It was quite an experience to be 3 kayaks solo in a lagoon! Very peaceful. Our guide Ben was informative and helpful. All around highly recommend.

5.00Excellent cruise with few people, large cabins, varied activities: we did swimming, kayaking twice through caves and in quiet coves. Hang, our guide is very knowledgeable and happy to share his life and experience and understanding of the fauna. As it was January water was a little cold, but this was highly compensated by a great experience and less crowd. And abundant delicious food.

5.00The tour was amazing. We were alone at moste of the spots and Hang showed us around and gave us plenty of information to all the places we went. We had a great time and Hang added the cherry on top with his energy. The were also very transparent about what is included and what not and how the next steps will be. On top of that we were also only a small group of 5 couples.

5.00Great experience and beautiful sights. Small group during low season. The bus picked us up in Hanoi, near our hotel (for 11$US). As advertised, the wonderful crew took us to less crowded areas in Lan Ha Bay. Our guide Ninh improved our experience. On the water from ~12pm to 15pm the next day. Would recommend as we prioritized activities and time on the water > luxury. Room was clean and comfortable. Woke up to an incredible view of the bay. Weather cleared up during the day.

5.00Great experience. Our guide was Tony and he made sure everyone was satisfied and safe during the cruise. He has a great sense of humor and is eager to share interesting insides about vietnamese culture. The cruise itself was hands-down one of the best experiences during our whole stay in Vietnam. I highly recommend booking with Cat Na Ventures because they can take you to less touristic spots where you can enjoy the views and take great pictures without thousands boats in the frame. First night we went kayaking and our group was the only one in the little lagoon, it was magical. The food on the bout was fresh and good quality, with a lot of options and quantity.

5.00We had the best experience! the program was amazing compared with other tours we had more time with water activities (kayak and swimming especially on the second day). The boat and the food were amazing!!! And our tour guide Ninh was very welcoming and friendly. he gave us interesting information about the area and also was very interested in talking to us 5stars 🌟🌟 We totally recommend this tour especially with Ninh!!!

5.00It was a wonderful tour with Toni. We enjoyed the majestic landscape in the wonderful cabin with a big comfortable bed. They prepared creative vegetarian alternatives for every meal. Toni explained everything very good, gave a very good insight into local topics which was very interesting. And finally he presented his brand new and cool magic tricks. Thanks for everything!
