Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00We had an amazing experience! The views on the cruise were phenomenal! The boat was very pleasant and everything had a nice and relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed the small size of passengers on this boat. It felt like a big family for a couple of days. Ben our guide was very lovely as well as very knowledgeable and helpful. The crew very kind, the food and service great! Would definitely recommend this trip if you want to be away from the crowds and experience a more quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Overall incredible!!

He is super knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had an epic time on the cruise and had fun experience swimming and kayaking. Food was delicious and transfers were a breeze. 5.00Cat Ba Ventures’ tour of Lan Ha Bay and Ha Long Bay was amazing. We went to secluded beaches, with amazing views. Most of the time we were the only tourist boat sailing. The kayaking was also incredible. The boat is super comfy, with AC/heater, a great bed and hot showers. The views of the rooms are STUNNING. Hands down the best “hotel” room I have ever stayed. Shout out to Hang, our tour guide, who was incredible and super funny, and made the role trip a lot better. I won’t forget the amazing magic tricks at night (he is a PRO) and all the information about the islands and the places we were sailing. The best tour guide we could have asked for. If you can, I highly recommend the 2N/1D tour instead of the one day, the whole night/early morning is truly breathtaking (Book with Cat Ba Ventures!)

5.00Highly recommend this experience. We had the most wonderful 2 days. Everything was easy to organize from pickup in Hanoi to getting dropped back off they took care of everything. Our time on the boat itself was incredible. A great guide, chef, and captain. We did so many activities from incredible cave kayaking to swimming to seeing and feeding monkeys to night fishing and seeing where fish are raised. Ninh was the best tour guide. He shared so many interesting things about the region and life in Vietnam. He also led the experiences impeccably and was so flexible for us to make the experience exactly what we wanted. The food was also delicious and had so much variety.

5.00It was a great tour that I would recommend to anyone who loves nature and prefers exciting, authentic activities to sumptuous luxury. This was my first guided group trip as a single person – and it was the best decision ever. I really blossomed and got along very well with the fellow travellers. Ninh, our responsible tour guide, responded to all guests and showed great interest in every single person. He was always helpful and available late at night for a lively exchange about Vietnamese culture. He also left nothing else to be desired. I am very grateful for this experience and will definitely come back.

5.00Such a good tour with small enough group of all different ages. We seen so many areas and most of the time our group were the only ones there it was so nice and peaceful. The rooms were lovely and clean and the food provided was very tasty! Our tour guide Tony was so enthusiastic and gave us lots of information throughout the trip. We had the best time!
