Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00Had an incredible overnight stay with Cat Ba Ventures and our amazing guide Ben. Every spot we were taken to was stunning and isolated with little to no crowds everywhere we went. What made it extra special was the care Ben took when looking after us and taking us on kayaking and swimming excursions. Additionally group sizes are not too big so you get to know people and there is a sense of community which was further fostered by Ben and the activities he ran for us. Could not recommend enough!

5.00We had the best time thanks to our tour guide Ben, he was so friendly and helpful and took us kayaking and showed us how to fish for squid, as well as being so funny while telling us all about the local wildlife, landscapes, and culture. I would definitely recommend.

5.00Well-organised overnight cruise. The itinerary included two kayaking sessions, one through caves and another to beaches for swimming, plus a separate swim session. The food was great, freshly prepared, and catered well to vegetarians. Ben was an informative, energetic, and friendly guide. There was plenty of time for deck-side relaxation and evening squid fishing.

5.00We had the best experience on the overnight cruise with Cat Ba Ventures. It was great to see Lan Ha Bay and more remote parts or Ha Long Bay with barely any other tourists, such a peaceful and beautiful part of Vietnam. The food was amazing and the activities were great fun, the kayaking meant we were able to explore parts of the bay boats can’t reach. Our guide Hang was excellent, super informative and also great fun. Would definitely recommend this trip!

5.00AMAZING ! Tony, our guide, was an absolute sweetheart, his English is perfect and he gave us so many information about the Bay itself but also Vietnamese culture. The tour itself was perfectly organized and timed, the kayak tours were particularly nice since Tony guided us through lagoons and beaches were there was no tourists besides us. And the nice to have : Tony’s a good photographer so don’t you worry about taking pictures, just enjoy the views. You’ll have time to relax on the boat too On the boat, the food was really delightful (we had plenty to eat, good veggies options etc), the room was spacious and clean and the best part was that we were only a group of 10 people I would highly recommend taking this tour, you’ll be in right hands ! Tip : do not skip the sunrise on the bay Thanks again for everything !
