Our boats start from Cat Ba island, which is more beautiful and more interesting than Ha Long city. We avoid the crowd, take you to wonderful areas that less touristy, you can enjoy nice landscapes, real natural, clear water, secluded beaches.
Our boats anchor at pocket lagoons for staying overnight.
Our local guides are all experienced and enthusiastic, and will help you to discover the bay and take care of you during the trip.
-We do a lot of different trips than other tour companies. It is well worth the money with nicer itineraries (more time kayaking, swimming each day), and we cruise further to amazing landscapes in less touristy areas. You also have more time on the boat, not like a 24 hours tour by other companies.
Join us, you will start the trip at 11.00 of Day 1 and finish at 15.00 of Day 2. What should be better?

11.00 - 11.30: Take a minibus for 5 minutes from our office to the pier. Sometimes we take small junk for easy cruising and anchoring the harbor. The boat number 1: Lan Ha 25 Junk After lunch, we will move to the sleeping boat Cat Ba Ventures around 13:45 pm (we change boats in the bay). -The boat number 11: Cat Ba Ventures on our website. Cruise around Lan Ha Bay. Visit amazing landscapes and a floating fishing village. You will see the daily life of the fisherman on the bay. Swim at deserted beach. (Snorkeling is optional with equipment included) 12.30: Having lunch on the boat. Kayaking 1 and half - 2 hours through the rock arch to hidden lagoons and tunnels to discover Bat cave and Bright Cave. Keep cruising to Ha Long Bay to sightseeing the most beautiful landscapes at less touristy areas. Enjoy the sunset on the bay. 19.00: Dinner and overnight on the boat. Optional squid fishing at night.

- After breakfast, we keep cruising to discover another side of Ha Long Bay and Cong Tau lagoon. You can enjoy the beauty of hundreds of limestone islands in less touristy areas. Visit Dau Be Island, then relax on a deserted beach. Kayaking to discover Ho Ba Ham (3 hidden lagoons). - After lunch we will cruise to another part of Lan Ha Bay. - Return to Cat Ba Town at 15.00 - 15.30 (You can catch the last bus or speed boat at 16h to go back to mainland or stay another night in Cat Ba). Please note: The trip can be flexibly changed due to customer's demands, the weather and the tide as well. From May, 2026, our tour will finish at 12pm.

5.00Had a very enjoyable 2D1N cruise with Tony as our guide. He really compered the whole trip and made it a funny and enjoyable experience for all. Tony spoke excellent English and spent a lot of time speaking about Lan Ha/ Ha Long Bay and Vietnamese culture. The boat was very spacious and large. It's a older junk boat but really had everything we needed. Because it's smaller, we were able to go into much less busy and touristy bays. We had wonderful time swimming and kayaking and sailing around. As it's Jan, it's a little chillier but Tony encouraged us all to jump in, which was actually great temperature for swimming. Bring some extra layers for evening. Food was excellent too. We did have some issues with the ferry on the way back, but I will save my comments for the company.

5.00I had an amazing 2D/1N boat tour in Lan Ha Bay, and Ninh really made the experience special. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and always made sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. He took us to quieter, less touristy spots and shared interesting local stories along the way. One highlight was kayaking, absolutely stunning views and something I wouldn’t have done without his suggestion. Thank you, Ninh, for such a memorable trip. 5.00We had an excellent time, our guide Tony outlined what we would do, where we would go and what we should bring for each of the activities. His instructions were clear, he was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour:) This was on of the best trips in our month away. We had a boat with only 14 people which also made it great. All dietary requirements were checked and catered for. We had some of the best food that we had eaten on the holiday. The kayaking through the karst landscape was definitely a highlight- we paddled for almost 5km which was fantastic. Sunrise was also pretty magical:)

5.00The cruise was perfect! There were only 14 of us on the boat which made it even more special. The nature is beautiful and service from the crew was amazing. Meals were all family style and people with dietary restrictions were well catered for. Big shoutout to our incredible guide Tony who really made the whole experience for us! Would recommend to anyone looking to see Lan Ha and Ha Long Bays.

5.00The trip was exactly what we looked for. Relaxing 2 day and one night in the bays. Our guide Ben was very kind and knowledgeable. The rooms on the boat are big, clean and with an amazing view. We had two big windows to enjoy the scenery. The boat ride is super smooth and you can really relax on the upper deck. The food was great and we loved the family style table arrangement. The planned activities are enjoyable and not too rushed it felt just right. The area is not crowded with boats or many groups. We run into only a small group on one kayak exkursion. Thanks again to Ben for his great attitude and funny stories.

5.00Can’t say enough good things about the full day boat kayaking tour in Cat Ba Island. Hang was incredible and so kind. The food for lunch was plentiful and outstanding. Out of our 5 week SE Asia trip.. this was the best day of the whole trip. 10/10 recommend

5.00This 2 day experience was superb! The scenery was fabulous, but the meals were delicious and varied. Activities also take us to places where we feel like we are alone in the world. Beyond that, a big thank you to Ben our guide, really nice and exciting, we were able to learn a lot about Vietnam and its history. He animated us the crossing perfectly. We would like to thank the entire Cat Ba Ventures team we recommend for these excursions.
