Langtang valley trek is one of the popular trekking trails in Nepal. It is located North to the Kathmandu valley. Langtang trekking encompasses the Langtang National Park which protects the endanger Red Panda, varieties of birds, wild animals and diverse of flora and fauna.
The trails of Langtang follows the old salt trading routes comprises forest, village farm lands, Himalayas view, and ethnic culture etc. Majority of ethnic people are Tamang and Sherpa. Because of easy accessibility and close from Kathmandu valley, Langtang region is popular for the trekking lovers.
Langtang valley trek starts from Syabrubesi which is 6 hours drive from capital kathmandu. The maximum elevation of the trek is Kyanging Gump (3,740 m). Kyanging gompa allow you to hike to Langsisakharka, Kyanging Ri. If you love climbing peak - try Yala peak (5,550 m). Kyanging gompa itself the view point, you can have panoramic view of Langtang Lirung and Ghangchepo mountain.

Trek to Kyanging gompa is around three hours walking, Easy walk though out the Himalayan terrain. Enjoy the views while walking. Do lunch and walk short acclimatization walk in the evening.

Today we have an extra day to explore the Kyanging valley. We have some opportunity like Hike to Kyanging Gopa or do hike in Tserko ri, If you dont like climbing higher elevation, just do hike in Langsisa Kharka.

Trek back from Kyanjin Gompa to Ghoda Tabela (3,020m). The walking will be pleasant and scenic one. Overnight at mountain lodge in Ghoda Tabela.
Trek Ghoda Tabela or Lama hotel to Shabrubeshi
Today you will walk down to Syabrubeshi via Lama Hotel and Bamboo through previous rhododendron forest and Bhote Koshi River. Overnight at mountain lodge in Syabrubeshi.

Today is your last day in Nepal. Prepare your luggage or baggage and ready yourself for your departure. Our officer will meet you at your hotel lobby prior to 3 hours early of your flight time. Drive to Tribhuwan International Airport and fly onwards to your journey.

5.00Langtang Valley trek was indeed an Epic Adventure. Our stellar mountain guide Shree taught us about the local culture and led us to one of the most incredible villages I’ve ever seen. Yaks, monks, monkeys, and sublime nature. This trek will definitely be one I never forget. I highly recommend Epic Adventures and my friend Shree to any fellow travelers exploring the Himalayas!

5.00Was on a 15-days Langtang Valley trek with my 2 daughters in Oct '18. We enjoyed ourselves throughly, and most importantly, did not have any health or injury issue from the trek. Our guide, Pasang; and the two porters, Ramesh and Prakash made the trip a safe and happy one. They were always watching out for us and was attentive to our needs. They go about doing their task quietly, and when needed, they provided us the required information. They were clean, cheerful and careful. The Langtang trek was a wonderful experience. The first day trek from Syaburbeshi to Sherpagoan (an elevation of > 1,400m) was the toughest and it got us prepared for the rest of the trek. The climb up Kyanjin Ri (4,300m) and Tsego Ri (5,150m) was the highlight of the trip. After the trek, we went for the Mountain Flight to have a closer view of Mt Everest. We were impressed with the service of Buddha Air. On the first morning, the captain had to fly back (after taking off for about 20 minutes) as the Mt Everest could not be seen due to clouds. The airline did not charge us for the canceled flight. They were prepared to give the refund or we could schedule another flight the next morning which we did. This time, we went again and saw the entire Hilmalaya range, including Mt Everest, from a close range. Last but not least, we were happy with the service of Hilmalayan Smile. KP (the boss) was always responsive to every question we have....before, during and after the trek. He was the man who made the arrangements. After this trek, we are planning to go back for another trek in Nepal!!
