A trip to an Aurora camp done with our adolescents. The guides kept a close eye on the sky and that led to a spontaneous stop with very nice light 5 minutes before we reached the camp. We took extensive photos and enjoyed the beautiful light and that was good because it had now been closed at the camp. The soup was very tasty, but we expected a little more in terms of food. Because we had to gather at 6.15 pm we had not eaten yet. The lefse was also very tasty and the host of the hut super nice. Unfortunately, there was no campfire outside. Because it remained closed and we had already seen beautiful skies we returned home at 10 pm. So expect to be on the bus for a long time (2x1 hour and 15 minutes) and not a full meal. But seeing the Northern Lights makes everything okay!

Our Aurora Safari Minibus tour with Best Arctic was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by the incredible team. Miel, our host, was simply outstanding—knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the northern lights. He explained the science behind the aurora, how to predict its appearance, and the best ways to capture it on camera. His insights enhanced the entire experience, turning the evening into both an adventure and a learning opportunity. Per, our driver, was calm, friendly, and highly skilled, navigating challenging snowy roads with ease, taking us on a smooth and safe journey deep into the Arctic wilderness in search of clear skies. His driving allowed us to relax, knowing we were in good hands. The minibus itself was comfortable and warm, which made the long drive pleasant. Miel and Per worked seamlessly together, adjusting the route based on real-time forecasts and sky conditions. Their determination paid off when we finally reached a perfect viewing spot, and the northern lights put on a spectacular show. The aurora was breathtaking—dancing greens and pinks across the night sky. Overall, this tour exceeded all expectations. With Miel’s expertise and Per’s excellent driving, we had a safe, comfortable, and awe-inspiring evening. If you’re in Tromsø and want the best chance of seeing the northern lights, this is the tour to take.

A totally unpleasant experience. in the desperation to make as much money as possible they do not take into account the weather conditions that make it impossible for the aurora borealis to appear and transport tourists for 6 hours to chase clouds when it is known from the beginning that it is in vain. impossible to cancel without losing all the money. I do not recommend The driver and the guide tried to do their best!

Margot was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and helpful. We felt that the trip could have been shorter, we spent a long time by the water in freezing temperatures when the lights were very faint.

Nice excursion with very nice guides. Fabian and Carlos knew each other well and it really felt like they wanted to see the Northern Lights themselves. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful. Also the food served was super delicious. On the way back to Tromsø we stopped again in a parking lot to look for Northern Lights. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the Northern Lights. Which, of course, we were very disappointed in. We think that you should make it a little clearer on the website that unfortunately it can also happen often that you don't see the Northern Lights (for our guides it was the second night in a row that you couldn't see one). Of course, everyone is aware that this is nature and you can’t guarantee that you’ll see any, so you shouldn’t advertise on the website with a 99% chance either. We wouldn’t book the tour again but rather a tour where you’re on the road and actually chasing the Northern Lights instead of just waiting in one place. All in all, it was still a nice evening.

We wouldn't have found the auroras without Jacob! It seemed like a lost night, but driver and guide knew where to go to see extraordinary auroras.

I strongly recommend you to go elsewhere. They made us miss the last day of the tour. Resulting in the organization of the day being thrown into nettles. They can't work. They are approximate and unprofessiomal
