The vivid contrast of sandstone against the sky creates a picture-perfect scene, and every step through these formations showcases the power of nature’s artistry.
Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park
We then continue to Monument Valley, an iconic symbol of the American West and a sacred land of the Navajo people. Towering buttes rise from the desert floor in glowing red tones, a landscape immortalized in countless films. From the time we got on the bus, no introduction from guide, we sat at the back of the 10 seater, guide did not have good English, we couldnt hear what he said as no microphone, when we asked to speak up he just laughed at us and said no microphone oh well. He spoke to Asian guests at front of bus in their language, we thought he was rude, no interaction about what we see, and even if he did we couldn’t understand or couldnt hear. We came from New Zealand and although the sights were amazing, our guide was unprofessional and not at all engaging with us. Turned up at restaurant for dinner and he hadnt pre booked so we couldnt get in. Had to have KFC which wasn’t ideal. Just not what was advertised that we would get. We felt pretty ripped off and disappointed and would not recommend this company.i could go on but whats the point !
