Il Cenacolo
Milan's most famous mural, Leonardo da Vinci’s The Last Supper, is hidden away on a wall of the refectory adjoining the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Depicting Jesus and His disciples at the dramatic moment when He reveals He's aware of the betrayal, it's a masterful psychological study and one of the world's most iconic images.
Santa Maria delle Grazie
Santa Maria delle Grazie, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and an exceptional testament to the Renaissance architecture in Milan. Designed by Guiniforte Solari in 1463, with later additions by Bramante, this stunning Lombard church encapsulates the magnificence of the Milanese court of Ludovico Sforza and Beatrice d’Este. The vist of the Church can be done just from outside if the Church is closed.

5.00Lorella was a great guide and it was treat to see the Last Supper. Also, the price was very reasonable given that many tour companies seemed to have jacked up their prices because of the Olympics.

3.00The Last Supper and Crucixifction tours were very well done. The tour company does not tell you that the church is closed at noon and then for two to three hours for siesta. We all paid for a church and art tour. The tour company certainly knows aboit the siesta and fails to tell its customers. No ethics.

She pointed out details and the subtlest nuances of Da Vinci’s painting my hubby & I agreed - we would have never known - nor read about or learned before. 5.00Well narrated walking tour of the area around the Duomo, the Galleria, and the neighborhood that includes Santa Maria delle Grazie, where the Last Supper is. Our guide, Cristina, was very knowledgeable, personable and professional. Not as small a group as I would have hoped for, for the price, but Cristina got everyone involved at some point.
