I booked at the last minute as I wasn't sure what time I would make it to town and I am glad I did. What a unique experience being so close to flowing lava and learning about Iceland's volcanos. Our guide, Luis, explained everything in an engaging and fun way. Luis also made sure to answer any questions before, during, and after the show.

The Lava Show in Vík was absolutely incredible. Watching real molten lava flow right in front of us was both thrilling and educational. Huge kudos to Luis for explaining everything in such depth—his clear and engaging explanations truly elevated the experience and helped us understand the science behind the spectacle. This show is fascinating, well-run, and definitely worth a visit while in Iceland!

this was amazing and very low key . I was so impressed by the presentation and the knowledge of the presenter. but don't expect the razzle dazzle of an IMAX just enjoy the low tech experience and learn something.

A great show to see real lava flowing up close. Nice drinks and food before hand. The guide was great cracking jokes and explaining as he went. Was cool to see lava being manipulated and understand more. It felt interactive despite for obvious reasons not doing anything. Good one off show to see lava and how it works in a controlled environment and it was nice and toasty after a cold wet day under waterfalls

Fantastic! Learned about the geography of the Vik area, the process of Katla volcano exploding, and even escape routes for the residents. Amazing watching the lava flow and cool. Very entertaining.

Highlight of the trip, wow it is HOT, starts of with an historic intro, really well explained science facts, and then a demo with real lava, it's hotter than you imagine, you can't explain it with pictures or video. Really worth the time and money.
