Le Marais/ Paris tour is to discover the secrets of one of the most exciting old area of the city.
You explore the beauty of French architecture of the aristocracy and royalty of France, waking in the narrow streets, along typical ‘Hotel Particuliers’- French urban ‘mansion’.
You admire the unique in Europe ‘Place de Vosges’ former ‘Place Royale’, where French writer, Victor Hugo lived and wrote the romantic novel ’Notre-Dame de Paris’ and the modern art galleries around it.
You walk along perfume and vintage shops, so appreciated by both Parisians and the travelers and small local food shops and French cafes and terraces.
My itinerary leads you to off – touristy spots, court- yards and gardens, to the Jewish district, with its typical food stores and refined kosher pastry.
Next to it, the lively LGBT district is to be visited especially for its cafés, bars and cool boutiques (optional).
Feel the awesome vibes of old and new in good harmony in Le Marais/ Paris.

We took a beautiful city walk under the inspiring guidance of Jill. She showed us the Marais through different eyes. All praise to Jill for her knowledge. We can wholeheartedly recommend her as a guide. Thanks again, Anja and Hans

Le Marais has many peaceful spots, as well as wonderful restaurants and cafés. To truly notice all the interesting details and hear the stories behind them, I highly recommend joining Jill’s tour. She has extensive knowledge of history, art, and contemporary developments. It’s a real pleasure to be in her company!

Interstate, vibrant neighborhood dating back to Paris medieval times. Something a little off the standard tourist path. We had a great morning with our guide Jill Andrei, who knew the area and it's history in depth.

I had wonderful experience on a tour of Jewish quarter in the La Marais with Jill. I happened to be the only one on a tour that day, but Jill went above and beyond to make the experience both welcoming, personable and engaging. I was exploring la Marais on my own, but did not see 90% of hidden treasures that were pointed out by Jill. Also, Jill showed the utmost sensitivity and deep respect to Shoah that was deeply appreciated. I recommend tours with Jill for personalized, warm and welcoming experience.

Great Guide, Jill, who was high energy, knowledgeable and fun. The subject matter was interesting but she gave it life. It was very cold but in spite of that she made the trip so meaningful that you forgot the cold. She even brought each of us a Christmas cookie.

I have been to the marais several times, but Jill opened my eyes to things and stories that were new to me, interesting and sometimes surprising. We met Jesus Christ in a painting in St Paul Church, walked over an elevated road alobg with roman troops, rode carriages of the middle ages driven by drunk drivers, tasted delicacies of parisian food, and finaly understood why Paris is the "city of lights". If rou want to experience all that you need to take this tour with Jill who has endless stories and surprises over every corner of the city in a funny way, tailored to your interests. It was really great !!!
