My cooking school is Lanna style unique and warm atmosphere like home. I am very passionate about cooking and have been teaching the history and techniques of Thai food to customers on a on a professional level and atmosphere in classes for the past 10 years. I am the founder of cookventure home cooking studio where I will teach step by step for all participants joining our daily classes our favorite skills and dishes of Thai cookery, which have been passed down from generation to generation.

What To Expect
Please book in advance at least one day before your interested day. For cancellations please contact us one day before your booked class day. For all costumers we will pick them up at their hotel and then will take them to the local market inside of old city to show them for learn and let them touch and taste all ingredients and seasoning after that we will heading back to cooking school. We serve welcome snack before we start the class. Morning class time 8am-1.30pm Evening class time 3pm-8.30pm We will teach step by step 5 courses of popular stunning Thai dishes to all customers explaining all the herbs and ingredients used. Each client will have their own cooking and prep station. After each course is cooked customers have a choice to sit comfortably either in our traditional lanna style dining room or outside in our beautiful private garden. After all the 5 courses are done and everyone is truly full we then provide transport back to their hotel and each with a recipe book of 24 different dishes with all ingredients and step by step preparation with exact measurements making each dish easy and pleasurable for them to create at home

5.00My teenage son was surprised how easy it was to cook delicious food. Apple ensured we had a great experience - taking time to explain herbs etc at the market …but then showing Ben a delicious home made chicken stir fry if faster than deliveroo! Apple is a great chef and gave lots of tips to make the food super tasty. Highly recommended

5.00Apple is a PRO!! While every element of this morning was so well-thought out and organized, there were still plenty of moments of spontaneity and personalization - a breath of fresh air from other, more scripted cooking classes I've done. What I'll really take with me from this experience was her warmth and humor; we had such a blast learning about one another's lives, cracking jokes, and sharing our culinary passions. The food was phenomenal of course - be sure to try the water chestnut dessert, such a pleasant surprise! Wish I were in town longer so I could do the class she offers on a farm - something to look forward to next time!
Amazing experience—note she has fewer reviews here but hundreds on Airbnb for the same class—def take it!!

5.00What an amazing experience! Cannot recommend highly enough. Apple is friendly, kind, passionate, and knowledgeable. She made the cooking easy and fun. All the food was delicious. She picks you up and drops you off at your hotel personally. The experience at the fresh market was awesome. The cooking space is comfortable and nice. You cook a 5-course meal (maybe more like 3 meals!) and get to choose what you what you want to cook (among 5 options) for each of the courses. We are vegetarian, and that was no problem at all—she had all the necessary substitutes (and even taught us a lot about different substitute), and all the dishes came out amazing. She gives you water, tea, coffee, and even your choice of music or Netflix if you’d like. Apple is easy and fun to talk to, and she taught us a lot about Thai cooking, culture, and history. The experience could not have been better. Highly recommend.

5.00We had a wonderful evening learning to cook Thai food with Apple. Our kids (10 and 8) really enjoyed the experience and Apple did a great job helping them. The food was delicious and we each got to choose what we were cooking! I can't recommend our experience with Cookventure enough. We enjoyed it so much that I could see coming back to do it again. Apple is also starting a new farm to table experience and we would like to try that!

5.00Today we spent the afternoon with Apple, our teacher. She took us to the market and educated us on a bunch of the ingredients that are used in their cooking. Then we went to her house to learn how to make our dishes. I chose 5 dishes and my brother chose a different 5 dishes so we learned how to make 10 dishes, and we got to eat them all. They all tasted amazing - even better than the street food we all love. We left with a cookbook too. The best part of the experience was the intimate atmosphere and the personality of the teacher. She made us feel at home and was funny.

5.00This was such a wonderful experience, i learned how to cook many traditional thai recipes with fresh ingredients we bought from the market in a vegan version, we even made coconut milk! during this class the host was really friendly and funny and made sure everything was well-known and gave me a booklet plus the food to take home! Definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested in thai cooking!

5.00This was an amazing experience! Everything was really nice and organized. We got to see the market, learned about the veggies and ingredients, then we got down to cooking and ate delicious food - what more can you ask for?! Apple (the teacher) is super kind, attentive and let's you work (while keeping a close eye). I was able to understand how to cook many Thai dishes and deserts and couldn't be happier! Money - well - spent! :)
I highly recommend this cooking school! Apple (the owner and chef) is wonderful and helped me make some great Thai food!

5.00I had a wonderful time at Cookventure! Apple (the chef and owner) is super knowledgeable about a wide variety of Thai dishes. She took me to a market where we hand picked all of our ingredients for the 5 course meal. She also explained what each vegetable/ingredient was, how to cook it properly and introduced me to the vendor staff. The cooking studio has a wonderful setup. It consists of a modern outdoor cooking area and a traditional Thai dining area. Apple is an excellent teacher and was able to help me cook Chicken Green Curry, Basil Chicken Stir Fry, Thai Seafood Soup, Fish Cakes and a Sticky Rice Mango dessert. All of the food tasted amazing. Plus, she also gives you her recipes book so make those dishes and others at home. I’d highly highly highly recommend taking a class with Apple! She’s great. I’ll definitely do another class if I’m in the area in the future.
