The class will learn to cook three typical dishes of the Italian tradition, using professional tricks and techniques; it will be followed step by step by me as a professional chef but at the same time the atmosphere will be relaxed and pleasant. The recipe cards will be provided so it will be easy to replicate them at home with friends and relatives.
The lesson will take place in my cooking workshop, that is, in a real professional kitchen.

The experience will be both professional and relaxed. We will learn how to prepare three typical dishes of the Italian tradition (starter, first course and dessert), you will not know what we will cook until you are in class: this is what distinguishes me DA all the other pre-set cooking classes that always have the same dishes. We will focus on HOW, WHEN and WHY of each step, just so you really learn how to cook. Participants will go through the preparations with my direct assistance, can ask questions and take notes. The experience will end with a dinner accompanied DA excellent Italian wine. All recipes will be delivered at the end of the experience, so you can play them independently at home for friends and family.

We will make a typical Italian appetizer such as bruschetta, parmigiana, focaccia or other. Everything DA scratch and handmade! You'll find out in class

Fresh pasta or handmade dumplings
You will make traditional pasta by hand such as gnocchi, tagliatelle, ravioli or other, we will make a dressing together. You will find out what we will do directly in class
dessert
TIRAMISU - CANTUCCI - PAN MEINO - CHOCOLATE TORTINI
The dessert can be traditional Tiramisu, Tuscan Cantucci or the super traditional Pan Meino Milanese or more. You'll find out in class!

This class was such a highlight of our trip! We learned how to make pasta and tiramisu, enjoyed prosecco while cooking, and shared a glass of wine once the food was ready. Alba was the perfect host — patient, kind, and very clear in her explanations. She made sure everyone felt included and even captured photos of us while we cooked. The group we shared the evening with was wonderful, and it felt like we were all old friends by the end of the night. Alba also gave us local recommendations for our next destination, which made the experience feel even more personal. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

All level of cooks will enjoy this cooking class. Chef Ilaria was such a patient and gracious host. The class only had 8 students so it was a very intimate and enjoyable session. The class three hours flew by and the food we made was delicious.

The event was exactly as advertised. Small class size and everything was hands on. Authentic cooking style and pasta making but the food was bland. I guess it caters to everyone but not tasty. The chef was friendly but taking two personal calls during the class was rude. I would not recommend this class for true foodies.

Very enjoyable evening with great bunch of people. We really enjoyed getting stuck into the cooking. Everyone was included in all the tasks. We particularly like making the pasta. Chef was very informative & great food to finish. Would recommend.

Thank you to Ilaria for a wonderful experience. We attended Ilaria’s kitchen as a group of 4 (two pairs of sisters) and enjoyed an engaging and informative lesson. Ilaria was a great teacher and we enjoyed learning new techniques from her. Our menu consisted of bruschetta, gnocchi with sauce & biscotti cantucci. The experience lasted approx 3 hours which included some initial snacks and refreshments, the cooking lesson and then eating our cooked meal with some complimentary wine. I’d recommend this lesson to anyone looking for a fun and interesting experience in Milan. It is well suited to budding chefs regardless of experience, a couple of our group have little cooking experience but managed with the session. Thank you Ilaria!
