What To Expect
Jeita Grotto
Along the way, you'll listen to interesting facts about the area’s many points of interest, such as the Nahr El-Khab valley and the hilltop statue of Christ the King. Jeita Grotto, a finalist in the competition for the new seven wonders of the world, is an incredible cave system in the limestone rock of the Mount Lebanon mountain range, made up of two separate enormous caverns. Admire the thousands of stalactites and stalagmites and take a short boat trip on the lake that covers the floor of the lower cave.
The Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon
Harissa, The Lady of Lebanon where you can choose to take the cable car up to the impressive 8.5-metre statue. Climb to the base of the statue which towers high above the city to enjoy the stunning views over the coast and sea.

5.00I would very highly recommend Citysightseeing Lebanon as a tour company, and this specific trip - as probably their most popular and definitely my favorite of ones I experienced. It's a must for seeing the beauty of Lebanon beyond the urban grit of Beirut. The guides we had at Jeita Grotto and the Byblos ruins were excellent as was our driver for the day who made extra stops along the way to see things that were not on the listed itinerary. I also greatly appreciated their were only 3 of us on the tour. Consider eating a large breakfast or bring snacks. Lunch was not until 2pm but nice selections with what we had.

5.00We were in Lebanon in August 2023. We used the Citysightseeing agency for the Lebanon tour. We had a great time. Exceptional Italian guide (Bassam Mehri), lunch always at the top, excellent choice of places to visit. Avoid the red bus with the group (except for the tour of Beirut in which case it is worth it) and prefer the solution with the personal driver (or in small groups) because the difference is really huge. Everyone who works in this agency has demonstrated maximum availability towards us and passion for their work. Recommended

5.00The trip to Jeita Grotto, Harissa and Byblos was fantastic. The transport was there before the scheduled time with water and biscuits provided. The driver was great and the tour guide (Carla) was so passionate, enthusiastic and knowledgable about the history of her country. All the locations were great, entrance fees were taken care of and the Lebanese lunch at Byblos was a real highlight! I couldn’t recommend this tour highly enough and was the perfect way to see more of this beautiful country. Many thanks to Carla and the driver (Michel?) for their hospitality 😊
