I bought tickets for my granddaughters and son yo fill in time whilst one of the others was at a party elsewhere in chadstone. I was a bit worried it wouldn't be so good because of some pretty ordinary reviews. Well they all loved it and actually ran out of time to do everything they wanted to. If you love lego like my family do you'll love it. Lots of happy smiling faces from kids and adults alike

This is an expensive outing - at $39 each for children and adults. There’s a seniors discount for grandparents! It’s all fairly chaotic - especially arriving there on a week-end. Parking at Chadstone is troublesome at the best of times, but we thought we would be okay at 1030. Not to be: the car park with direct access to Legoland was full. We tried nearby but frustration compelled me to valet park ($55! But worth it!). The entry ticket allows you to spend 3 hours there - but depends on the age group. Our 5 yo grandson was bored with the activity class as it was not particularly challenging or enjoyable for him. You can’t escape Legoland without buying more Lego - and they seem to have the most expensive more prominently placed on shelves. Certainly there were some very clever adaptations of Melbourne icons on display -

I went to the Adult Night LEGOLAND at Chadstone and unfortunately, I found it a very disappointing night. There were a few things that made the attraction very negative and I would not return or recommend for others to complete this activity. It was very rushed, unorganised and we felt like we were misled in the information provided on the handout on the night or it was just missing altogether. Long wait time to get in the doors at the start, not told about what rooms there were, where we were and weren't allowed and the handout misled us a few times in regards to what was included and we missed out on items. Free build was chaos and unfair. "Rides" were very quick and some you could only do once. When9pm hit we were told to leave as the attraction and the store were both closing at the same time so no need for the 10% off voucher I guess.... we knew the attraction but not the store we thought we would have at least 10 mins to finish up as they never told us the store was closing at the same time. Still very aimed at children I didn't see anything "adult" apart from no kids running around, I would not return or recommend unless some major changes are made. I know some people love this attraction but for a novie I did not enjoy it and felt deflated leaving and just wanted to share my experience. The staff were nice it was just the premise of the night not the staff at all.

Fantastic, however made challenging by being cashless. Reduced our purchasing power significantly. Disappointing for child who saved all their cash from birthday Christmas and pocket money. Took away from the experience

Definitely not worth $140. Went to the 4D movie at 5. Was told the doors shut at 5🙄 Show time posted was 5. Lazer tag must have been broken. Wtf was that?! Horrible. Kids did like the VR. Maybe it can last longer than 1 min? The lego workshop was ok. The lil ride was ok. My kids absolutely love legos. This just wasn't it for us. Came based off of reviews. Didn't try the lil Cafe.

Our 3 children wanted to stay longer, they loved the Lego and 4d movies, we were to hungry to stay longer as we couldn’t justify paying the amount the cafe wanted for food, so had to leave to eat. Kids loved it. When we visit Melbourne again we would come back - with food prepared so we can stay longer.

We went to the lego discovery centre as a family of 4 with kids aged 9 & 11 and had a better time than we were expecting. From the moment we walked in the kids were engaged the whole time. The duration of our visit was over 3 hours. We would have stayed longer but had to get going due to prior commitment. The staff were great, especially the master builder Teddy who went above and beyond to make the experience fun and enjoyable. This is the perfect job for him as he was kind and showed a genuine interest in what the kids were building. I can’t say I had a favourite part of the experience as Lego has done a fabulous job at making it fun for all ages.

We enjoy Lego (son is 5years) so was good fun activity to do. Bit weird that my sister and her two daughters bought their tickets ahead of us, we were next in line and the sales person notified us the price had just gone up as they were already at capacity! It was an extra $2 each a ticket. Not much but I have never experienced this before... There was a small interactive ride and lots of free building for your kids. A 4D movie and soft play for kids under 5 if that is what you are into. Unfortunately I got overcharged for a cookie and a drink (on top of the already expensive ticket) so wasnt overly impressed. At the beginning you are also given a lego mini figure which you can swap at the 'swapping wall' - all the figures already looked pretty plain as Im sure everyone had swapped theirs but you are able to get an accessory at the end which was pretty cool. Loved the re-creation of Melbourne in Lego room.

The view was breathtaking and ideal for families, with numerous activities catering to children. We particularly enjoyed the 4D Lego short film, approximately 5-10 minutes long, although unfortunately, open captions were not provided for deaf accessibility. The staff made an announcement, which was inaudible to us, except for my 9-year-old son. We also experienced the 3D VR attraction, priced at $15 for two people, lasting only 5 minutes. At the cafe, the hot chocolate was delightful, albeit after a lengthy wait, understandable given the establishment's busy state. Regrettably, our banana bread was served without butter upon request.

Go early if you can. The place tends to get quite busy from around 11:30am onwards. I recommend buying the tickets online. If you can, time it with the free 30 minute Chadstone Shuttle Bus ride where you can alight at Federation Square. Once you're there, do these activities first: Go on all the rides, Put your name down for the workshop (limited spaces) and Watch the 4D movie. The rest you can explore later. We missed out on the workshop as we didn't know about the limited numbers and had to leave for our next event. Overall, it was OK but there's definitely better kids entertainment out there with Holey Moley and Hijinx Hotel just outside.
