The trek begins at the Lemosho Gate with the help of your guides and porters. From there, you’ll hike through the rainforest to the Mti Mkubwa Camp, where you’ll spend the first night. You will continue your ascent to Shira I Camp. During this day, you will notice a change in the vegetation as you approach higher altitudes, while passing through the rainforest and into the heath and moorland zone. You’ll cross the Shira Ridge and hike to the Shira 1 Camp, where you’ll spend the night. You will enjoy breathtaking views as you hike the Shira Plateau and hike to the Shira 1 Camp, where you’ll spend the night.

Today, you'll continue your ascent through the moorlands, with the landscape becoming increasingly rugged and barren. As you approach the Lent Hills, the trail becomes steeper, offering panoramic views of the Shira Plateau. 5.00We really had an incredible safàri in Tanzania. We booked with Macpace Tours and Safaris 3 months in advance. They helped us in reserving nice lodges in Arusha , serengeti, Ngorongoro and Mto wa Mbu. We were very lucky to see so many beautiful animals including the big five within all these national parks. We saw rhinos, buffalos, elephants, leopards, lion and many more. I higly reccommend to visit Tanzania with this company.
