Northern lights are related to weather conditions, so they are not guaranteed.
2 adults share 1 snowmobile. Single driving is available as a supplement for adults.
Children 1-14 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
Children under 2 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
In order to drive a snowmobile, a valid driver’s license (class B) is required. A provisional license or a picture of the driving license won’t be accepted. The driving license must be recognizable in English. If you do not bring your driving license you won’t be able to drive a snowmobile and no refund can be offered.
The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.

What To Expect
Experience a 3-hour snowmobile adventure into the depths of the Lappish wilderness, in search of the Northern Lights. Experience the enchanting winter landscape, illuminated only by moonlight, stars, and snowmobile lights. Suitable for adults; children can join on a sledge under warm blankets. Note the late timing of the excursion!

3.00It was cloudy, I think the guide didn't really feel like going out. We were already back after 2 hours. We didn't see any northern lights, although the cloud cover was still breaking and other lights were seen. With more patience or other places we might have seen something, but the guide didn't really bother.

3.00The snowmobiling time was fine. The tour leader seemed to not know how to explain the way the snowmobile operated. She said it wasn't her usual job. Still, we all understood how to drive them successfully. The time spent trying to get a fire going and cook sausages was tiresome. She told us a few myths about the Northern Lights but wasn't an engaging storyteller. Most of the conversation in the Kota was between the leader and the only group who spoke Finnish, I guess. After the tour was over, we had little instruction about what to do with gear, or how to get back to our hotels. She had to call the driver who very impatiently drove us back. We enjoyed the snowmobile driving, but the rest could have been much more professionally done. I would find a better tour company.
Great experience seeing the lights.

5.00This was a great tour! Jonathan was our guide and did everything from pick us up, to help us with gear, and then lead our group! We opted to pay extra for single riders since we all wanted our own snowmobile, and the tour was so much fun. We had a smaller group and rode all the way to the airport via to the snowmobile streets. Jonathan is a very personable and knowledgeable tour guide, and is also quite the photographer! Thank you, Jonathan!

4.00We had a great time on the Levi Northern Lights by Snowmobile excursion. Unfortunately, we couldn’t complete the full excursion as planned due to the extremely cold weather conditions. I really appreciated the honesty of the team in ensuring our safety—they offered us the option to reschedule or cancel for a full refund. We chose to go ahead with the excursion, and it was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was fantastic, and the first round of snowmobiling (about 1.5 hours) was exciting and well-organized. We returned for a hot drink, which was much needed after being out in the cold. Although we were offered the chance to go out again, we decided not to because we were too cold by that point. Overall, it was a great experience, and the team handled the weather-related challenges professionally. It would have been perfect if the weather had allowed us to do the full excursion, but that’s out of their control. I’d definitely recommend this tour, especially for their focus on guest safety and comfort!
