The Lima City of Kings Tour was an unforgettable experience, and Pamela made it even better! She’s incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about Lima’s history. From the stunning Plaza Mayor to the eerie catacombs, she brought every stop to life with great stories and insights. Pamela made sure everyone felt welcome, answered all our questions, and even gave us great local recommendations. If you’re visiting Lima, this tour—and Pamela as your guide—is a must! Five stars!

Such a great experience! Our guide shared a lot of interesting history and took us to the highlight places plus some more off the beaten path where only the locals go. We were able to leave our luggage in the car which made logistics much easier

Great tour our guide walked us through the main square, a museum with pre-Incan and Incan artifacts, and the catacombs. Along the way he shared countless amazing facts about the city; its architecture and history. We even got to try the very delicious Peruvian churro!

Tino was a very knowledgeable tour guide whose English was excellent. We were late arriving at the meeting point, but communication from the office was very good. We visited the two main squares and San Francisco Monastery and their Catacombs. The information provided was interesting and informative, also gave us lots of info on the history of Peru and the local people. Would highly recommend this tour if you want to see and hear about the history of Lima.

My husband and I were blown away by the tour we received! We were very lucky to have been the only people who booked our day so we received a private tour. We were picked up very punctually from our hotel, and our guide Mario came into the Lobby to receive us. The car was very comfortable and the ride was smooth. Mario was incredible - he was extremely personable and knowledgeable and clearly has such wonderful pride in his country. He offered us so much historical background to the sites visited. We drove through the historical district to Plaza San Martín and began walking there. He took us through a gorgeous path through the city and gave us a wealth of knowledge we would have never known otherwise. Mario went into depth on the indigenous history of Peru at Museo Central (Banco Central de Reservation Del Perú), a bank that is converted into a museum. After this stop we walked to San Francisco Church and the catacombs below. We were so impressed by the descriptions of the symbolism present in the architecture and designs. On the way to Plaza Mayor, Mario took us past the Casa de La Literatura Peruana where we also happened to catch the changing of the guards from the Palacio De Gobierno. We even stopped in a chocolate shop where he took us to taste cacao. In Plaza Mayor we finished our tour surrounded also by the Cathedral de Lima and Palacio Municipal de Lima, as well as a parade with a band and dancers. Ultimately, the information we received on our tour enhanced every site we saw. Mario was so fun and professional and his energy and respect for the culture of Peru was contagious. We would recommend this tour to anyone who could take it!

Booked this last minute tour less than 24 hours before tour and everything ran so smoothly! Pick up time at location was superb and the tour itself was so much fun! I learned so much, loved his energy, and felt connected and safe from beginning to end! This was the best tour to get a quick taste of what Lima was all about in a short amount of time. THANK YOU!!

Time and money well spent for a quick tour of the historical center of downtown Lima. My tour guide, Mario, was really well-versed with the rich history of the region, and speaks perfect English, which definitely enhanced my experience as a non-Spanish speaker. Highly recommended!
