I had the best time with Defne! I'm really into desserts and pastries so she designed a guided walking dessert tour for me. We started at Martinho da Arcada, an 18th-century cafe were we tried the best pastel de nata, a historic tea shop, as well as Confeitaria Nacional, Lisbon's oldest pastry shop (est. 1829), and a few other places. When I travel I ususally try the local desserts but my tour with Defne elevated the experience sky-high. I was able to share the experience with someone who also love nerding out on desserts and what in history and culture influenced them into being. It was so fun getting historical context on the food and the places that served them and then trying the food. It really made the experience special. Thank you Defne for one of the best parts of my solo trip to Portugal!

We absolutely loved it! Come hungry; we couldn't eat all day again. Defne is a great guide; she knows a lot about Lisbon and its culinary scene. We visited many of her hidden places, and every interaction was a real local experience. Not only the food but also all those stories made us see the real Lisbon. I couldn't recommend it more.

This food and wine tour was a really special and authentic way to experience Lisbon. It wasn’t just about tasting good food and wine, but about understanding how centuries of history shaped Portuguese culinary traditions. Each stop was thoughtfully chosen and connected to a specific moment in time. Walking through historic neighborhoods and learning how different cultural influences shaped the local cuisine made the experience feel meaningful and personal. What I enjoyed most was the relaxed pace. Nothing felt rushed. We had time to enjoy every tasting, ask questions, and have sincere conversations. Our guide’s passion for Mediterranean food culture and culinary history came through in a very natural way. This tour is perfect for anyone who enjoys food, wine, and culture in a calm, genuine atmosphere. I would happily recommend it.

I booked the 'Lisbon Food & Wine Tour' and it was, without a doubt, the highlight of my trip. This is so much more than just a food tour; it's a masterfully told story of Lisbon's history through its incredible cuisine. Every taste, from the local food to the carefully selected wines, had a story behind it, which our guide shared with such warmth and expertise. I discovered hidden culinary gems and learned about the influences that have shaped Portuguese food over centuries. It was a truly multi-sensory experience that connected me to the city in a profound way. If you're a food lover who enjoys history and authentic local culture, this is an absolute must-do.

Even though I’ve been living in Lisbon for some time, this experience made me see the city in a completely new way. Discover with 5 Sense is not a typical tour, but a thoughtful and relaxed way to experience Lisbon through its creativity, flavors, and stories. What I loved most was how authentic everything felt. Instead of rushing between well-known spots, we slowed down, explored hidden places, met local creatives, and experienced a side of Lisbon that you don’t usually see. The atmosphere was very welcoming and intimate, making the whole experience feel personal and easy to enjoy. The combination of art, conversation, and local gastronomy made the experience both inspiring and fun. Even as someone who lives here, I discovered new places and left feeling more connected to the city. It felt less like a tour and more like spending time with someone who truly loves and understands Lisbon. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something genuine and a little different — especially if you want to experience Lisbon beyond the usual tourist routes.
