Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
The Monastery of Santa Maria de Belém, better known as Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, is a Portuguese monastery, built at the end of the 15th century by King Manuel I and was handed over to the Order of Saint Jerónimo. It is located in the parish of Belém.
In 1837 they began manufacturing Pastéis de Belém, according to an old recipe from the Jerónimos Monastery that is reborn every day in the factory using the same artisanal processes. Pastéis de Belém today provide the taste of ancient Portuguese sweets.

5.00I booked the wrong date in error and the company was most efficient and obliging in changing it. Our driver David was 15 minutes early for our hotel pick up, very well dressed and polite! The car was perfect and luxurious! Do note that while David was knowledgeable, he was primarily our driver and not a licensed tour guide. As a driver he did an excellent job and went over and above.

5.00Good communication prio to the pick-up. That was very helpful for our planning. Ricardo picked us up and we had four perfect hours of sightseeing with our Tour Guide. He is smart, very polite and knowledgeable about Lisbon and Portugal's history. Ricardo speaks perfect English, on top we received a great tip for our restaurant visit in Lisbon. Many thanks ! 5.00Ricardo picked us up at the hotel as agreed at 9.00 in the morning. The atmosphere from first minute was great. Ricardo is very nice, accessible and funny. In addition, we did a tour and I and my children were impressed by his incredible knowledge of history, current events and Portuguese culture. We are so glad we did this tour and we highly recommend this experience. I definitely recommend Ricardo as a Guide. You're not going to be bored with him one minute. As far as we're concerned, he's earned a good 10+. Thank you Ricardo and who knows see you soon!

5.00If you want to see historic and modern sights in style, without the hassle of tuk-tuk traffic, this is the way to go. The owner of the company Ricardo knows the city of Lisbon like the back of his hand and he’s got the inside track on how to get behind the scene of a famous pastry shop once run my monks in the city.

5.00Ricardo is quite possibly the kindness, most courteous and hilarious tour guide. He picked us up in a luxury Mercedes and got to know us right away. He was extremely knowledgeable of Portugal’s history and spoke perfect English! He offered to take multiple pictures of our family and took us to the most fantastic places. The half day tour (4 hours) was the perfect amount of time and he was very accommodating to restroom and coffee breaks! Thank you Ricardo for an excellent adventure. PLEASE propose to your girlfriend Beatrice of 10 years!!
