What To Expect
Where you'll be: This is a 3.5 hour English local guided tour from Ljubljana city center to Metelkova alternative culture center, Tivoli park, down to river Ljubljanica - and everything around and in between. We pass through city attractions, history, breathtaking views, natural wonders and have a lot of fun along the way. I can't say everything... Your host: Hello, I'm Klemen! Love cycling since the day I've got my first bike. I am a passionate Ljubljana’s bicyclist, licensed tour guide and nature lover with a University degree in tourism from Ljubljana. I will share with you not only the coolest local places and recommendations but also the best, safest and most interesting routes to get you there. Ljubljana’s bike tour will give you the freedom to explore the city with the wind in your hair and get to places many people will never see. What matters to me is to create a wonderful memorable experience. Enough said, Let's Cycle Away! :)

5.00This was a fun way to explore what Ljubljana has to see and offer which covered more area than we originally expected. Most of the tour is on designated bike lanes so very safe. We shared with another couple so had some nice conversation. Our guide knew everything there was to know about his city and country which made the trip very enjoyable.

5.00We were blessed with an exceptionally beautiful April day - warm temperatures and a crystal clear blue sky. Klemen showed us many sights around Ljubljana and took time to give us background/history and answer questions. There was a delightful “cake break” towards the end of the ride. He also took us to parts of Ljubljana which were outside the “old town” - thus you get to see things not on the average walking tour. The bikes themself are easy to operate & adjust - they only have 3 gears so nothing complicated. Klemen adjusts the pace to the group so don’t worry if you haven’t ridden a bike in a long time (like me!). This is not a sprint - it’s a well-paced tour of the town on mostly flat terrain. We felt it was worth the time and money.
