This tour will take guests through 4 unique communities in North San Diego County; Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff By-The-Sea, and Encinitas. This tour is unique because we will be able to cover nearly 15 miles in 2.5 hours on capable and easy-to-use electric bike. All of our bikes have different levels of pedal assist, as well as different options for using a throttle.
We have bikes suitable for riders 5'0" and taller, but we also have options for children! We have two (2) Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes which have seats for up to two children. Additionally, we have child seats for children up to 45 pounds that can be installed on our electric bikes.
Our tour guides have extensive knowledge of the North County area about local cuisine, beer and wine options, artisans, art galleries, local surf spots, and so much more. If you have something that you are dying to see, do, or learn about in the area, please ask us!
Please note that much of the riding will be on street or in bike lanes

What To Expect
Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens
We will stop at the beautiful and historical meditation gardens founded in 1938 but Paramahansa Yogananda. We will be able to walk through the gardens if desired! Edit; due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are unable to go into the gardens but will resume our walks through the gardens as soon as possible. In the meantime we will stop at the border of this property to enjoy the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
Del Mar Racing
The Del Mar Racetrack has been the central hub of Del Mar since it's inception by Bing Crosby in 1936. The fairgrounds have hosted the Del Mar Fair (aka San Diego County Fair), thoroughbred horse races, and for two years during WWII the Del Mar Racetrack was closed to use the space to construct parts for B-17 Bombers.

4.00We are seven guys that had a great time. The bikes were not what I expected. I wish they had been a full frame bike. our tour guide was fantastic. He kept us together and was great on sharing information about the local area. The equipment all work well. No one fell, we had a lot of thrills along the way. This was a private group and it felt like one. It was fun.

5.00A great first experience on an ebike. 3 50+ friends enjoyed this tour and pedaling just the amount we wanted. Power assist was awesome. Justin was knowledgeable and shared great stories and good local tips .

5.00Did this tour while visiting my son who just moved to the area. Tour provided overview of area and ideas for other areas to explore. It was not strenuous and just the right length for our needs. Our guide, Justin, was great. Area is very busy with cars, pedestrians and other cyclists but Justin kept us safe and gave me the confidence to hit the bike paths on my own.

5.00We did the local guided e-bike tour as our department's annual team-building event on a Wednesday afternoon. There were 6 of us and our guide, Brendon (not sure if that is spelled correctly). The bikes were in great condition, and the location, parking, etc., was very easy. Everything was on time and ready to go for us. Since many in our group had never been to any of the beaches in Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff, or Encinitas, it was a great way for them to see everything. It was a beautiful sunny day, and everyone had a great time. Our group's age range is between 30 and 61. The bikes allowed you to pedal if you wanted, but also had throttle assist so you didn't need to pedal if you didn't want to. We had one person in our group with a knee limitation, so she didn't pedal and she still had a great time.

5.00We had a fantastic bike tour with Justin yesterday. He was knowledgeable, sharing great background on the history of the area and pointing out lots of local spots to check out. He was also incredibly patient and made the ride relaxed and enjoyable. It was an absolutely beautiful way to get to know the Solana Beach area—highly recommended!

5.00Super easy to reserve and check-in. Had a friendly and knowledgable guide in Lee Ann, who adapted the tour to our preferences. The bikes worked well and had good kick with the "rev" feature throttle, though the seats were a little hard. Didn't hurt that it was a spectacularly beautiful day!

Justin was an excellent guide, he made us feel safe and secure on the E-bikes and was great at communicating the road changes etc. He was full of information and the ride was beautiful! We really enjoyed learning about the coastal communities and the whole experience, including some great stopping points. Really good value and would do again :)
