Grasse
Grasse is a major town in the middle country of the French Riviera located in the west of the department of Alpes-Maritimes 12 km north of Cannes on the Mediterranean coast. Grasse is the world capital of perfume, supplanting Montpellier whose Faculty of Pharmacy was the source of the creation of ointments and perfumes. Discover its cobblestone streets dating back to medieval times and its historic buildings.
Boutique Fragonard
Installed since 1926 in this magnificent factory, tannery in the 18th century, it became a perfumery factory at the very beginning of the following century. Completely renovated and sublimated in 2013, it offers an original journey of discovery of the mysteries of traditional perfumery, from the processing of raw materials to the packaging of finished products. The machines used, from copper stills to soap workshops, offer historical, social and cultural interest in the techniques and working conditions governing family perfumery until the 1950s.

We had a wonderful time saw lots of beautiful villages in the countryside, and wonderful Mountain views. The tour guide herself was excellent and we appreciated all of her helpful insights.

Grasse was a lovely stop where we learned about perfume making. The medieval villages were our favorite part—so quiet, historic, and full of flowers. To finish the day, the local wine tasting was excellent. The wine was high quality and the atmosphere was very peaceful.

Amazing tour begining go end. Billie is a proud local and her love and passion for the region made the tour really special. She's also a very fun person and it felt like you were being shown around by a friend. We especially enjoyed the vineyard tour which was unique and unlike any I had taken before. We also had the best meal of our stay in Gourdon which Billie had reserved in advance. She also provided great recommendations which made our stay better beyond the tour itself. Do yourself a favor and take this tour. If we had longer we would have booked addition tours with Billie and will be recommending it to all our friends and hope to also take ourselves next time we're in the area.

A very enjoyable excursion from Nice. The landscapes were beautiful and the villages felt like stepping back in time. The local wine tasting was excellent, and the guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Billie provided my daughter and I with a wonderful trip to Grasse, Gourdon, and a lovely organic, family-owned winery. The region is beautiful, and Billie curated a fantastic experience for us: we had a great day enjoying the sights, scents, tastes, and tactile goods of Southern France. We also loved the balance of learning about the region from Billie and spending some alone-time to explore. I highly recommend this experience!

We did the coach tour of Grasse, Gourdon, and visited a winery. Our guide was lovely, talkative, and very knowledgeable about Nice and the surrounding area. The factor of Fragonard was interesting and lunch with a view from Gourdon was nice. The highlight of the trip was the wine tasting at a stop were wine had been cultivated since Roman times.

Honestly, Gourdon felt like another world! Grasse was lovely (smelled amazing), but those stone streets and views in Gourdon were something else. Our guide was super chill and shared some cool local secrets. It was a very laid-back day, finishing with wine and good vibes.

Spectacular views and a very relaxed atmosphere. The walking tour was easy to follow, and the guide was great. The sunset wine tasting was the perfect finishing touch. A must-visit!

Gourdon was much calmer, perched high with insane views. The guide explained things in a really casual way. Walking around was easy and enjoyable. The wine tasting at the end, watching the sun set over the hills, was probably my favorite part of the day.

Grasse had all these tiny streets and shops that smelled like flowers and perfume. Gourdon felt like stepping into another world—quiet, stone streets, and views that make you stop every few steps. The guide shared cool local tips and history along the way. Walking around and taking photos was super easy. Wine tasting at the end was a nice way to kick back and enjoy the vibe.
