We first toured the Uquhart Castle. The next day we took the Jacobite cruise. The views were stunning. The narration was easy to listen to. Even if you aren’t looking for Nessie, the cruise is worth it for the spectacular scenery.

Very nice ride down to the castle and back. Narration was a bit hard to hear with people chatting, but what I did hear was informative.

Somewhat informative (taped) narration. It’s a crowded boat ride that allows for a view of the castle ruins from the water. Ruins that you can see from land. Ruins that you can walk around if you’re not on a boat.

Started with a coffee and cake in the cafe over looking beautiful Loch Ness . Then a short walk down to the jetty to pick up tickets and to board the boat. The boat was well equiped and plenty of room. Staff were very friendly and helpful and although the weather was very mixed we had a lovely journey to Urquhart Castle and back with beautiful moody 360° views of Loch Ness.

It was okay. Not worth more than 15 dollars though.

What a wonderful experience! There was an automated information recording during our trip and the depth sonar was really neat to watch as well. Seeing Urquhart castle from the water was the highlight! There’s an option to get off and explore the castle and catch another boat later but we did not do that option.

This is a must if you're visiting Scotland! What a beautiful view rain or shine! Did not see Nessie, but plenty of photo opportunities with the Nessie statue. The Clansman Hotel has a great restaurant and bar, along with a souvenir shop. Worth it!
