1.00Horrible service. My bus from Inverness city center to the meeting point was exactly 2 minutes late. The pick up was supposed to be at 4:15 PM and I reached the pick up area at exactly 4:17 PM thanks to the delayed bus. I had called the helpline number at least 5-7 times appraising them of the bus delay and that I'd be there in less 5 minutes from the scheduled time. They, however, DID NOT help in any manner and did not even ask the ferry to wait for just 2 minutes. They refused to offer a refund on the ticket to top it off! Definitely avoid their service!!

5.00Well worth it . Amusing commentary at times . Lots of info. Only downside is return is repetitive, but not much anyone can do about that. Option of exploring Urquhart castle looked interesting. Didn’t do because wasn’t aware of the option.

3.00THE PARKING IS TERRIBLE!!!!! Leave extra time, our boat left without us as the parking lot was full and the overflow is a LONG ways away and quite the hike up and down a few inclines. The boat part was fine but plan ahead and do not assume you can just pull up and pack. And if you have mobility issues you cannot use the overflow lot.

4.00Of course we did it, right? Coming to Loch Ness and not doing a boat trip... so this is a tourist trap for sure and we all willingly participate... Now to put that to the side and give the deserved respect to the actual area.... it is beautiful! Don't come here for the Nessie "hype" - which of course puts it on the radar for everybody and there is some sentiment to it to be honest - but come here for a relaxing and scenic boat ride - something I recommended if you drive around Scotland and want something different for a change - we did it as a family of four with my parents and we mutually decided this wasn't a must but a nice "lunch break" type of excursion As to the tour operator - really nice company, well organized, the docks were located in front of the hotel - pretty unique under the street passage way, pretty cool actually to arrive at the water front and their docks. Boat is really nice and clean, plenty of great seats, cafe/bar, clean big restrooms - can't fault it The views of the castle of course are great, but seeing it on foot from the grounds is definitely the proper way to experience it - so make sure to do that as well The meeting location is a hotel where there is a cafe/restaurant/rest rooms/gift shop etc. so plenty to utilize before or after the tour if you are driving straight to here from somewhere far away

5.00Beautiful experience, welcoming and practical staff. The view of the castle from the lake is beautiful, and the guide entertains throughout the duration of the tour; I highly recommend it.

5.00We first toured the Uquhart Castle. The next day we took the Jacobite cruise. The views were stunning. The narration was easy to listen to. Even if you aren’t looking for Nessie, the cruise is worth it for the spectacular scenery.
